Rukmini Patel Interior Design

I’d been following Rukmini on Instagram for a while and love her designs. Rukmini’s hybrid package was the perfect fit for me to work with a designer, something I’ve always wanted to do, and project manage myself. She listened to both me and my partner and asked us both questions to create our design. Rukmini’s help has saved us time and countless decisions. Working with a Rukmini means we’ll have a kitchen that’s exactly what we want (and more!) and goes beyond trends to last.

Rukmini is a creative genius.Our consultation was focused and quickly created a vision which I felt comfortable with. Her style is broad and was quickly able to turn my dull neutral flat into a place of colour and life. In the consultation she assesed my style and colour preferences. Despite the parameters she was able transform the entire spaceI can't thank her enough for the effort and work she has put in.

Rukmini has been an absolute pleasure to work with and has provided us with some beautiful designs for our hallway, stairs and landing.She is a very professional and talented interior designer and is time efficient. Rukmini is a dream to work with. We’ve worked with Rukmini since 2019 on an extensive, whole-house renovation. If you see Project Percy anywhere on her socials, that’s our home! The hybrid renovation package worked perfectly for us as we felt we didn’t need the hands-on project management to implement Rukmini’s beautiful designs but we had the support from her throughout when we needed it or had any questions.We have done a kitchen extension, 2 living rooms, a hallway and landing, and 3 bedrooms including a master bedroom and nursery. Rukmini is exceptionally talented. She understands period property, and we appreciated that she took the time upfront to get to know us, our styles and our way of life. Our home would not be what it is today without her. Her ability to weave colour into a home in an elegant, timelines way is incredible and we are forever grateful to her for her design eye. In 2019 when we moved in, we were overwhelmed by the scale of the renovation that faced us, but Rukmini’s designs helped us achieve our dream home. She’s very professional, approachable and above all - talented.

Rukmini recently worked on designing my living room and bedroom. She planned every single detail from the flooring and paint, furniture, and even smaller accessories like vases and cushions that really make a space feel like home. She was super attentive to all my design requests and was responsive to any feedback and questions that I had during the design process.I was blown away by the final designs. She worked really hard to understand what colors, textures and style I liked in order to come up with a design that suited my personality and aesthetic. She also took great care to understand how my partner and I use the space (e.g. we like to look out of the window while eating breakfast!) in order to plan a layout that worked really well for us. I really appreciated how, at my request, she was also able to incorporate elements of my Indian and Eastern heritage in order to really make the space feel like my home whilst still having a universal appeal. She was also considerate of my budget and provided me with several options depending on how much I was able to spend.Rukmini has excellent taste and a great eye for design and was such a pleasure to work with.

Rukmini has worked with me over the past few months to redesign my entire apartment and I love it. She really listened to what I was hoping for and the little unique touches that I wanted and she has brought it all to life. I would never have been able to design the rooms this way - her choices were refreshing and somehow managed to capture just the style and feeling I was looking for. Highly recommended
