A lovely little pub with canal side setting outdoors. If you're traveling by canal boat you can moor for free for 24h...Sunday lunches are £16 and VERY delicious! Staff warm and friendly. A brilliant little pub!

Wanted a tasty, quiet meal on a Friday night. First visit here was great. It was fairly busy in the Lounge and the Dining Area was quieter. Lovely meal, friendly, considerate service. Will visit again.

Would recommend this pub for the fine selection of beers and superb menu.We visited as a party of 4 and had a truly stunning meal. Will definitely be returning.

Just popped in, not disappointed. Real Home made steak and ale pie. One of the best pies I have had, meat was so tender, suet crust pastry too. Large portions. Right on the Avon and Kennet canal.

Beautiful place! Sat out by the canal, so peaceful and tranquil...AND a gorgeous pint of Waddies, Henry's IPA!

Visited yesterday for lunch with my daughter, her partner and their dog. The food was tasty and well presented. The waitresses were very pleasant and helpful . Would definitely visit again

We usually love this place, and sitting by the canal is beautiful but today, the service wasn’t as good, the young staff that were there weren’t really happy about being there, there were no pleasantries, no smiles, they couldn’t change a barrel so one of us had to go without the drink we wanted, service was very slow and there was a big queue, we wanted to sit outside but there’s no table service after a set table ??? Very strange. And all the other tables were taken.We went inside and ordered food but missed out on the lovely view, the food wasn’t good, the burger was very dry and the loaded fries had hard bacon and not much cheese.We were very disappointed with our visit, on this occasion.Such a shame.

Lovely afternoon drinks sitting outside along the canal side, staff very friendly and helpful with knowledge around and about the area.
