Terrible firm, do not use! Took over a year (and still waiting to sort out) a simple family will.Every time you ring u get fobbed off and told that it is getting sorted. No one returns calls and when you do speak to someone they have a complete lack of empathy or interest.

Used them to deal with a deed or variance for a will and they were fine, however tried to use them for conveyancing and I was told I'd be called back several times over a period of around 2 weeks. Gave up and went with another firm who were much quicker.

No good they haven’t registerd our house saying they went in charge at the time they are the biggest liars gong I have proof of the sale but they refuse to talk to us making us stand at the door i sent them a letter but they refuse to reply even though they are are lawyers they took the money for land deals my advice is to avoid them we are looking for another lawyer who is for us and not against us

Same experience as everyone else giving one star. Poor communication, no return to calls or messages and documents been lost or mismanaged (transfer of deeds, searches). We actually changed our house purchase around so we didn’t have to use them for the second part. Don’t usually write reviews but would provide heavy caution to anyone considering them for a house sale or purchase at the Billingham branch.

I used Cochranes when purchasing my house. Me and my ex signed all appropriate paperwork that if we ever split, we would both receive halve however Cochranes then represented my ex and refused to follow their own contractual agreement. SCAMMERS
