We stopped on Sunday night, when car parking was free, but only up to 8.00am. So on Monday morning it is either necessary to leave before 8.00 or go down to the car park to use the pay and display machine. Surely the Travelodge could agree a better arrangement for their guests.

Great Travelodge experience, very modern room with effective air conditioning which is a huge plus for these hotels. We had a very nice corner room with comfy bed and strong shower.Parking outside is paid for but easy to do this with the RingGo app. Free on Sunday so just need to reserve and pay for the few hours on Monday morning.

Right in the middle of town, very clean, some beds, powerful shower, staff very friendly and helpful, many bars and restaurants and takeaways, all within 3 too 10 minutes walk, would stay there again without any hesitation, the only downside is there isn't any free parking apart from the 1st hour which is free, daytime 8am to 6pm is £6.70 away with hotel discount, 6pm until 8am is free,

I live in Gainsborough. I booked into this hotel on a Sunday night, in the hope that I would be able to get some sleep. I have very noisy neighbours. I didn’t get any sleep in the hotel. The people in the room next to me where constantly slamming the doors. I asked reception if I could be moved to another room. I was told it wasn’t possible as the hotel was full. I find it very hard to believe the hotel was full on a Sunday night in Gainsborough- Gainsborough being a small town. The room was also really hot- the air conditioning barely works. On checking out the receptionist was unfriendly, didn’t speak, just stared at me. Even though I didn’t sleep and didn’t have the best experience I still said Thank you as I dropped My card off the receptionist just started at me.

Nice spaceish rooms that are clean and comfortable. Adjustable heating easy to use.Down side is lack of tea and sugar in room, either ask for extra when you arrive or bring your own otherwise you'll be up and down all night to reception. No phones in room to contact reception. In town center so can get some noise but nothing major I've stayed here over firework weekend and over football games although can hear it I slept perfectly.

Stayed at the hotel to break up a very long journey from Yorkshire back to our home town. I booked a family room at short notice as we weren’t intending to cut our journey in half. I wasn’t expecting much for the very cheap price (£49 for a family room for 1 night!) But upon arrival, the room was actually better than the place we had stayed on our holiday! Staff at reception were lovely and room was clean and comfortable. My children liked that the beds were so close to the main bed, they thought it was fun!! I’d read about the car parking before hand and I had no issues. I got up, paid for a few hours and went back to my room and enjoyed a cup of tea whilst the rest of my family slept. I can understand why some people would find it annoying but I’m an early bird and I was up and showered by 7:30am so it wasn’t an issue for me. Will definitely come back for a short mini break as the town is lovely and Theresa lot of shops within walking distance of the hotel.

Stayed for two days. Central location. Super value for money. Hotel was spotlessly clean as was the room. The room was basic but very comfortable and warm and included tea and coffee making facilities. Receptionist was very friendly and informative. Free parking after 6pm until 8am. Would l stay there again, most definitely.

Room was clean. Bed was comfy.. The most annoying noise which must have been from the heater / air con we couldn't really work out what it was as we had to turn the heating off completely at night but the noise still came early in the morning. The car parking is a bit annoying as had to set alarm early to make sure I got a ticket for the van. Can't complain though was cheap enough for a night's stay.

Not great, parking is a joke. It's a 2 star hotel to be honest. Probably won't be staying again.
