Hermitage Park Hotel
What an absolute gem of a place to stay!!! The rooms were cosy and comfy, clean and fully fitted out. The atrium in the hotel is magnificent and dates back to being used during the second world war as a training base for the RAF. Our host in the hotel was a star!!! We were a large group attending a family occassion in the area and the hotel coped admirably with our needs. Nothing was too much to do for us and we felt totally looked after. Thank you, thank you Karen!!! The hotel is lucky to have you as its totally brilliant manager, Maitre d'hotel.

Had a lovely stay here despite initial reservations, the gentleman on the front desk wasn't very friendly when we arrived to check in, didn't inform us the restaurant was closed for dinner, or when breakfast was served or asked if we wanted breakfast the next day. However the lady that was there every other time was friendly , helpful and very accomadating . Breakfast was delicious , only down side was other guests being noisy going to their rooms , standing in the corridor talking loudly late at night then banging their doors when going into their rooms, not the hotels fault just rude guests . Rooms quiet other than that. Would return but ask for a room away from the stairs to reduce noise .

Lovely staff, lovely breakfast. Some rooms have minor issues, but the beds are comfy. It's a shame they no longer do dinner

Hermitage Park Hotel
Quite a nice hotel, think holiday Inn level. Clean room and comfortable bed. Lovely long carpeted conservatory upon entering with reception at one end then well stocked bar and seating area. Then at the far end there's tables and chairs where a lovely self-service breakfast is served. They don't do lunch or evening meals but other bars and restaurants are within a walkable distance.

We picked this place at random when wanting to break a long drive. When we checked in at 9pm there was a wedding reception going on, very noisy. Once we found the receptionist, she was so friendly and helpful, directing us to a nearby curry house - the Balti Night - which I can thoroughly recommend. From our room we couldn't hear any of the noise. The room was nice and clean, the mattresses too soft, but we were so tired we had a good night's sleep. The price seemed a little steep for what it was, but it was the same price as we'd paid the previous night in Wales and that wasn't as good at all. I do see now that the price varies and I suppose most of the rooms were taken by the wedding guests and we unluckily picked a busy night.

Stayed here whilst visiting the Victoria Biker's Pub, literally two minutes walk away, for Coalville Metal Invasion 2023.There is a large free car park & my welcome at reception was good.My room (5) was decent enough but just dated - the window would not shut as one of the catches was missing & the frame was warped so the other catch couldn't be used. I was on the first floor so not a big issue but I'd have rejected the room if it had been on the ground floor.My bathroom was small & functional, but I was really surprised to find a shower curtain in the bath, I've not seen one of these for about twenty years.I asked if the kitchen could provide a mushroom omelette & a couple of veggie sausages at breakfast - the one sausage provided was still frozen in the middle & the omelette hadn't been whisked or cooked very well...I would probably stay here again as the staff are all friendly & helpful, but it definitely needs some urgent updating.

I recently had an enjoyable 3 night stay here while in the area to see a friend & check out a show at the nearby theatre. Upon arrival I was met by a pleasant lady at reception to check me in & who I was having a chat with. I stayed on the second floor in room 6 - my room was all good & I couldn't find fault.All in all I was really pleased with everything throughout my stay - comfy bed, all clean in building, decent bathroom with everything working, WiFi signal fine, quiet room's day & night to sleep & chill out, nice & relaxing downstairs lobby to sit in for a drink, tasty breakfast the one morning I ate there, onsite parking, good housekeeping all up to scratch, nice staff whenever I saw them, good location for only a short walk away to a Morrison's store , a pleasant nearby park to have a couple of early morning strolls, & the nearby theatre for some top live entertainment. I got a taxi from Loughborough train station which cost me about £15 so not too bad if you're got similar travel arrangements as myself.Definitely a hotel I'll book once again when in the area next year. Thanks for everything & keep up the good work.

Stayed here for a wedding reception . Rooms clean , facilities excellent. Staff excellent, friendly and helpful . Food excellent. Breakfast excellent, wide choice. Slept very well in a comfy bed. Highly recommend.

Nice and quiet hotel. The breakfast is great! The rooms are spacious and very clean.This is the second time we came here and no regrets at all.

Went to a friends wedding, they realised the next morning that their honeymoon fund people had been donating to all night was empty, after the cctv was seen shows a member of staff taking the money out the back but the hotel won't question the employee or do anything about it, so don't trust the hotel or the staff your things arnt safe I'd avoid this place.
