The self service tills by the entrance onto Old High St are not fit for purpose, always malfunctioning. The staff are usually great but this morning when it glitched there was a woman I had never seen before who served two customers while I waited patiently. The machine did not recognise that the item had been put on the basket area where it was meant to be, so I moved to another till thinking I had put it in too slowly (usually the problem for these machines). There were zero other customers at that area by then. Unfortunately the other machine did exactly the same and bleeped and stopped. Aforementioned supposed sales assistant" had such a lack of basic intelligence and courtesy that she literally rolled her eyes upwards and instruct me "You should not have moved to the other till!"I wonder if she would have spoken in that rude and reprimanding manner to somebody who looked like her.There was not a single other customer around when she left her till let alone that there is no rational reason for anybody not to try another till if there is a malfunction

Working class people beware! One day I went to buy a cabbage, however before I had set foot inside a golf cart caused me to topple at an angle of 76 degrees to the horizontal. After a Range Rover beat me to the front doors, I decided that I was being discriminated against by posh people who can afford £7.99 whiskey smoked salmon on a daily basis.Would recommend even if you drive a defender

The security guard at Waitrose headington just stared at me. It felt like he was following me around the store when I was doing my shopping. I was holding a bottle of gin in my hands and I was still shopping. It doesn’t mean I was going to walk out with it? Just so uncomfortable.

Amazing collection. It's an enormous store. Prices are slightly higher than its neighbors but of course, with Waitrose, there is no compromise on quality.Huge variety of products.

Magical staff.My 4 year old daughter started to explain to one of the team (we'll call her Rose, I didn't catch her name) that she'd grazed her knee falling over earlier, and asked if Rose could help. Rose took a beat and then pulled out her (invisible) magic wand, and proceeded to do a little healing spell on my daughter's knee. This was immediately effective. My daughter, rather than saying thank you as I had suggested, promptly asked for a crown. Rose said of course!" disappeared for a minute and then reappeared with a (very visible) crown. My daughter did say thank you this time!Just the best"

Food prices not that bad. I'm still managing to buy my basics. The cashier was so pleasant happy for that. Nice to be saved by someone cheerful and greet customers at the till. Loved it.

They don’t care about their disabled customers. If they did then they would not let trolleys be dumped all day in the disabled parking bay right by their entrance.

I love coming to this supermarket. The sales assistants are always very nice, polite, patient, and helpful. The product portfolio is quite varied and offers a good quality. Waitrose may be more pricy than other supermarkets but it is worth it. Specially, when the staff is so friendly. Most of the time they recognise usual customers and they always put a smile on my face. It reminds me to the small family stores in Spain.

Your store in Headington was very cold and regular items were scattered all over the place. Am elderly so need to stay warm. Upgrading work is taking a long time and is caused by the temperature and cold storage of stock. Visited again today (20-12-22) and felt much warmer. Very handy store and stocks most of what we needed.

Very good, but recently I had a scarf and cap stolen from my shopping basket while I was fetching a trolley.Quick work--I must have been looking elsewhere for about 30 seconds!
