My son and I had lunch there on Sunday 19th September. My son lives in Fleet and I had travelled up to visit him. We found the Rose & Crown by 'accident', but was so glad we did. The pub itself is small, but very clean and very high standards of decor. It seems to have its regulars who come in for a drink and games of cards. On enteringthe barman was very welcoming. We ordered our drinks and as we had booked we were told we could go straight into the dining room. A good, but not huge Sunday lunch menu. That said often with toomuch choice comes poorer quality. The quality of the food and its cooking was spot on. Very rarerly do you get proper fresh vegetables cooked. These not frozen vegetables. The meat was plentiful and delicious. The young waitress was extremely courteous, pleasant and helpful. I cannot fault a single part of our visit. I highly recommend the Rose & Crown and its wonderful atmosphere and staff. Good luck.

Lovely local pub serving good beer in a friendly atmosphere. Was there playing Cribbage and the sandwiches afterwards were much appreciated.

Pleasant pub with good pub food, a good size breakfast and was cooked lovely very nice and friendly staff. Our room was clean and comfortable and lovely and warm we had a good nights sleep very quite location no pub noise from bar. Expect an old building!

Stopped off for a pint here the other week. A typical old boys pub, everyone goes quiet when you walk through the door but they were a friendly bunch and the fella behind the bar was also a decent chap.Worth a stop for a pint if you are on the area.

Nice and friendly quaint pup does a good roast on a Sunday i hear, and has a beer garden and looks to have live music on some Sundays.
