Staying at this hotel was a marvellous experience. It has nice rooms, excellent cuisine, splendid breakfast, a lovely garden and friendly staff. When we mentioned, that we were not able to have breakfast on our last day due to leaving early, without asking for it, our bill was reduced.We look forward to come again.

Lovely hotel based next to Tarbert. Room was lovely and spacious despite being the standard double" and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the bar area was nice and relaxed to sit in whilst tasting some of their signature cocktails!"

Super friendly staff and very knowledgable as they are locals. Made to feel very welcome straight away.Dogs welcome in the bar area, not restaurant or hotel rooms however.Only used the bar so can’t comment on rooms.Will 100% be back before I leave the island

With a cycle group and they have a (small) bike shed-hooray! Food is good and service at the restaurant is attentive. It would help if in the morning you were asked as well as tea air coffee? Do you want porridge. It can take a while after you sit down to start eating.

We stopped by to the bar/pizza are for dinner after a day touring harris. It was empty when we arrived but this meant we had great, quick service. The pizzas were fantastic I was pleasantly surprised, this place deserves to be a lot busier than it was! Highly recommend and will definitely return when next over

We stayed three nights at the Harris Hotel in a Standard Room. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and comfortable, meals were some of the best we had on our trip, and how can you beat the bar and lounge with such lovely views of the garden. It was the perfect place to come back to after a day of adventuring on the Isle of Harris. One day of our stay was pretty poor weather, so we stayed in and had afternoon tea service and took advantage of the board games in the lounge. A cozy and quiet place to stay, seems to be a favorite gathering spot of the locals as well for an evening meal. We would certainly stay here again.

Had a delightful 2 night stay in this lovely family run hotel. Great service and atmosphere here and a lovely diningroom. Our only comment is we would liked to have seen more local shellfish on the menu. There are wonderful scallops, lobsters crabs etc in this area and they should be simply served with salad and potatoes or bread. Celebrate your local fresh produce and keep it simple I would say.

We visited for an evening meal. Had drinks in the lounge before our meal, which had lovely views and we'll kept garden. Food was delicious including an excellent kids menu. Very good value. Extensive range of whiskey's to finish a great meal.

We had dinner here and it was great. Nice big dining room and great staff. Staff were very knowledgeable when it came to dietries (gluten free) and most dishes could be adapted.

29th. Sept. -2nd Oct. 23:There are stars showing the hotel's ranking in a:list but there are stars inside Hotel which are more valuable: the wonderful staff at Harris Hotel. Very good food each night, portions are quite big. Wines at very reasonable prices. Breakfast is a mix of a little buffet and service of hot drinks and food at your table. The rooms are spread about so many staircases and ours was large. We can recommend the place very much and would appreciate if hotels with a lot of stars at the entrance would have the same quality and friendliness of service like the Harris hotel. Thank you.
