Excellent customer service! Helpful, informative, courteous and not at all pushy. Impressively efficient. I am delighted with my car and would not hesitate to use Coombs again in the future should the need arise. My new car is pristine and prepared to such a very high standard.Sam and Jim, a father and son team, have proven to be honest, accommodating and understanding of everything I required.I know without a doubt I went to the right garage.Thank you !

Don't touch with a barge pole.. James Coombes is a lier and happy to sell cars with dud brakes and other issues after a 'just scraped by' mot. Cost me a fortune to sort. Stereo typical car dealer.

Purchased a car from this place back in Feb 2017, and so far the car has been problem free. Its first MOT was due back in Feb 18, since owning it, and it sailed through with no advisories. (To my relief!)We had a small issue with a sensor within the first 3 months of owning it (turned out to be low voltage, due to a knackered battery) Jim replaced the battery free of charge, with no quibble. Can't fault their service and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another car from them.

Nice selection of cars and if you are unfortunate to have something go wrong with your car they do their damnest to fix it evan if there is only one day left of your warranty. Also they do the work them selves and dont farm it out to a garage in the middle of nowhere like many other second hand dealers do and they also let you have a old banger to run round in until yours is fixed.

Very disappointed with this place; my partner bought a car from here for just over 4k, had its first MOT in February and failed BADLY - the faults it had should NOT have occured in just ONE year - I don't think he looks after them properly! A warranty of 3 months too - what use is that?! Never using him again! I've had to put 1 star otherwise it won't let me post, but it deserves none!

i recently bought a car cannot fault them on service, presentation was very good, i had a small probem on my vehicle but was very quickly repaired over a few days and a loan vehicle was issued to me. i was recently recommended to this garage from a good friend of mine and i would definatly return for any future business.

Sam is a top bloke no rushing gave us the keys we needed to view any car we desired, no dramas no messing around didn't give us any problems what so ever. Very professional and he knows his stuff wasn't worried about buying a car of coombs walked away with renault clio!Thank you guys for a great family car!

Described as a family business and it truly is. We bought a Honda HRV as a part-exchange to clear from Coombs, with the knowledge that there would be some cosmetic problems. Not a problem as I enjoy tinkering.Unfortunately, having discovered a wheel bearing noise we made the mistake of taking it to the local Honda dealer who used their Courtesy Vehicle Inspection" to scare my wife into thinking she was driving a death trap with dangerous brakes
