We highly recommend RS Aston. Richard and Joe completely renovated our kitchen and converted part of our garage into a utility room and cloakroom. The whole process through quotation, design, construction to completion was smooth and Richard guided us at every step. They are friendly and approachable and kept us informed and updated on the progress. Richard uses quality suppliers and materials, he also guided us on our purchasing of appliances etc. We found them to be reliable, trustworthy and efficient. As well as clean and tidy at all times. Their workmanship is of a high standard and they certainly have an eye for detail. We are delighted with the end result.

We have been very happy with the 4 weeks that the R.S. Aston team spent on our kitchen renovation. Richard helped advise, plan and design a user-friendly kitchen and prioritise choices to work around budget constraints. Richard organises all the relevant electricians, gas engineers etc. as part of the project. Joe and Richard installed a brilliant quality kitchen with a very high standard of workmanship. They cleaned up every day and treated our home with respect. A dog friendly team, so our spaniel enjoyed the process too. We’ve been enjoying using our kitchen now for three weeks, extremely happy customers. Will be getting the team back for any future work planned.

We chose Richard because he did a larger kitchen refurbishment for our daughter in a house built in 1906 and we were very impressed with his workmanship and attention to detail. Richard and team did a marvellous job refitting 2 bathrooms and a kitchen which was not in any way straightforward in a 1930's house. They always arrived punctually and kept us updated on progress. They helped us to choose what appliances would fit to maximise space and had very helpful suggestions. Richard coordinated the electrician, plumber, plasterer and flooring specialist and masterminded the project from start to finish. The only problem after completion was due to a faulty part which was a manufacturer's fault and twice Richard's team came next day to replace it. I would have no hesitation in recommending Richard to anyone wanting work done.

Our kitchen refurbishment by R S Aston Builders was a project very well managed from start to finish with Richard organising the electrician, plumber, gas man, flooring specialists etc. The workmanship and eye to detail is excellent and pride taken in every aspect of their work. All materials are of a very high quality and their advice given was extremely beneficial. Richard and Joe are very hard working, punctual, polite and friendly, considerate and tidy workers.Their professionalism is outstanding. The service of Richard Aston is fabulous. We have had him doing jobs for improvements at our house twice and we have been very pleased with what he has done and the way he works.From the first contact to the end product., it has been a positive experience. Richard is knowledgeable and understands clients' needs quickly. Richard's and his assistant's work is quick and always taking care of producing as little disturbance as possible. They always leave the place clean after each working day. We were looking to replace our bathroom, kitchen and utility room and approached a variety of companies. From the initial estimating process onwards, Richard showed great attention to detail and was very thorough, providing an itemised estimate which proved to be very accurate. There were a lot of unknows with the job, given the nature of an old house, and Richard was great at finding solutions when we encountered issues – nothing phased him, and his knowledge of all the disciplines was really beneficial. Richard and Joe have done a fantastic job for us. They have moved our kitchen completely from one part of the house to another, then changing the old kitchen into a downstairs toilet/shower room and a utility room. This was done by them with great ease. They have completed the work to the highest standard, and with minimum disruption to us. Their advice on what to do, what to have and where to put things has been invaluable for someone like myself who is not good at making decisions! They were here every day without fail, and as other clients have no doubt said, their working area is kept extremely clean and tidy.
