Upscale Atmosphere, Subpar Food ExperienceMy recent visit to this Turkish restaurant was a mixed bag. The service was attentive, the interior was elegant, and the ambiance had an upscale charm. However, my dining experience was significantly hampered by the disappointing quality of the food.The chicken lacked flavor and was unfortunately overcooked. The lamb shish was passable, but the lamb chops were dry and undersized. The chicken wings were borderline burnt, which was a letdown. On a brighter note, the bulgur and rice were acceptable, and the starter bread was quite enjoyable.My concluding comments about the food would be that it was edible but not enjoyable, and for reference I am not a fussy eater to any stretch of the imagination.The most disappointing aspect was the pricing. The £50 platter for two felt unjustifiably steep, particularly given the underwhelming taste and portions. Despite sharing it with my partner, we left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied and not satiated. It's worth noting that the size of the £50 platter was comparable to what you'd typically expect for around £30 in other establishments.In the grand scheme, the restaurant's attempt to create a high-end atmosphere and command premium prices falls flat due to the lackluster quality of the food. Regrettably, I won't be revisiting this restaurant, as there are superior dining options available elsewhere that provide a more gratifying experience
