Evil poor patients kept for years with allegations of beating and cruelty

I am still very shocked to hear the news about this hospital, years ago when I was a small girl there was always rumours about abuse in this place, so in my head I always thought ill of it. Then I went to visit a client a couple of years ago, found the staff pleasant and friendly, and any patients walking about Appeared to be clean and happy. The girl I went to visit liked the staff, and she was challenging, and would have been able to tell if she had been verbally abused or physically abused, but was happy there. We cannot tar everyone with the same stick, but sadly the good staff are trailed Into this awful situation too. I feel for the families having to go through this and the patients who have been abused, I hope all will get resolved soon although it will never take away the pain. Hoping in time all concerned find a happy and new home. I work in this industry and in Northern Ireland there are so many lovely residential homes where staff are like the residents families, so I'm sure there will be a lovely new home for many to be transferred to.

Didn't like this place, not a nice place for people with Autism.

This is more like an asylum from the 1950s. There is a man called Brian who they've refused to let go despite being medically fit. Sickening

Great way to get fit and better things to learn

This isnt a general hospital ! Its a mental hospital
