Pippa Hancock Acupuncture

I had been diagnosed with M.E. for over a year since giving acupuncture a try. Following an intestive burst of treatment I now see Pippa every two months. I feel acupuncture really helps with M.E. My energy increases after each session and I no longer pick up every bug going. Pippa is very understanding in her approach and I really enjoy these relaxing treatments.

I first started regular appointments with Pippa a few years ago when I was hoping to become pregnant. From the moment I met Pippa, I felt calm, reassured and like I was in very experienced hands. Pippa is incredibly knowledgeable and approachable and I found our chats during acupuncture sessions as useful and therapeutic as the acupuncture itself.There is a real intuition and sense of calm to Pippa and she quickly develops effective working relationships with clients; she is just someone you immediately feel comfortable with. About 3 months after starting my sessions with Pippa, my cycle was more regular than it had ever been and I became pregnant with my first child.Pippa treated me in my third trimester and I am absolutely convinced that my lovely textbook labour definitely had something to do with Pippa and her 'magic needles'!I am currently in need of some 'rebalancing' in my life and again, I will be turning to Pippa. If you are at all considering any of the treatments and therapies that Pippa offers, I would not hesitate in recommending her. She's great!

Following a diagnosis of an under-active thyroid in the early spring I was prescribed the lowest dose of thyroxine. However, I still had intermittent feelings of exhaustion but was reluctant to ask for a higher dose of medication. I therefore decided to try acupuncture while continuing to take the original low-dose medication. Pippa was very realistic and honest, giving no promises of a magical cure and warning me that it could take several sessions before I felt any improvement. In fact, I had three acupuncture sessions in July and subsequently went off on a six-week camping (so hardly a restful holiday!) and felt extremely fit with very high levels of energy. I am sure that the acupuncture has helped and am very grateful to Pippa. She offers an excellent service in a pleasant and accessible clinic. Thank you Pippa. Avril
