Surprised and disappointed – I’ve used this chip shop many times since I’ve lived in the area, it appears that asking how fresh the food is in the fryer cabinet would generate such a hostile response, to the point that the women serving walked off. I didn’t think you could be so precious over such a minor question. Embarrassing and cringe at the same time.

This is way more than your average chippy. Everything from the fish suppers, kebabs, pizzas and burgers are delicious. We've ordered from here a few times now and always impressed. The kebabs are delicious, high quality meat and the lamb in particular was tender and delicious. Great value for money. They have a lot of different options and they do them well.

This little gem is located in the great neighborhood of Leith. We tried the Fish and the chicken plates and they were delicious. The fish is the star here and was beautifully cooked crisp and flaky. You have a small counter and stools that you can saddle up to enjoy a great meal. Do not miss out!

I recently had the pleasure of trying the fish and chips from this fantastic takeaway, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. The fish was perfectly cooked, with a crispy, golden batter that was not at all greasy or heavy. The chips were equally delicious - hot, crispy, and just the right amount of salt.The portion sizes were very generous, and I felt like I got great value for my money. In addition to the fish and chips, I also tried some of the sides, like the mushy peas and the tartar sauce, which were both fantastic. Everything was clearly made with care and attention to detail, and it really showed in the taste and quality of the food.The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, and it was clear that they take pride in their work. They were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu, and they even offered some great suggestions for other dishes to try in the future.Overall, I would highly recommend this fish and chips takeaway to anyone looking for a delicious, satisfying meal. The quality of the food, the generous portion sizes, and the friendly service all make for a truly wonderful experience. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu!

What a place. The food from here was delicious and is very popular and busy with the locals. This is always a good sign for a food business. Photos attached to review. You order using the app and have it delivered or pick up yourself. Ring the bell at the door and they come take your order outside and pay there too. Right now (7:3:21) due to the tram works on the surrounding area this place is not wheel chair friendly but is navigable. Great friendly staff.

Easily one of the best chips shops in Edinburgh. One of the best Pizzas you can get. Forget the chain restaurants these guys do it cheaper, better and with care.

Best chippy in Leith and Edinburgh. Won't go anywhere else. Fish batter is proper. Also recommend the Mac&cheese and the haggis bites.
