Nice looking course ideal for army training just a wee bit hilly well maintained

One of the best maintained municipal courses I’ve played on. Front 9 easy enough, but be prepared for hell on the back 9! Some really challenging holes on the back 9, with a right few steep hills thrown in too! Would recommend 100%

This is not only one of the best courses in the west of Scotland designed by James Braid but still maintains its Municipal Golf status which has to be admired allowing everyone to enjoy golf at affordable priceI not only congratulate the ground staff at this course for maintaining excellent standards but also acknowledge the very welcoming approach to visitors taken by the starter in office and in my book this sets this course above many others with a less welcoming approachThe West Dumbarton Council should be pleased to know that this facility is a jewel in their crown and should maybe be more talked up and advertised as a venue for those golfers visiting GlasgowLet’s put Dalmuir Golf Course on the map and even think of crowd funding a new club house with facilities similar to that at Belleisle Ayrshire.A copy of the Belleisle facility would certainly be an attraction for West Dumbartonshire area in fact an investment which would attract more investment which can only be a good thing

In great nick for a council course. Throughly recommend and reasonably priced. Decently stocked pro shop as well.

Good course, well maintained municipal, greens always decent

This is fantastic municipal course. Challenging and scenic. We'll maintained( better than a lot of private clubs). Quite a busy course but managed to get around in 4.5 hours and lost two balls!!!

Greenkeepers keep the course in excellent nick. Greens are in top condition for a municipal course. Far better than some other clubs I've played.

Tee off, drive, chip, putt, slice and walk. Get a birdie, an eagle, a bogey, take a mulligan and get a hole-in-one. Even make use of your favourite caddy, best driver, handiest pitching wedge and most useful iron. Keep to the fairway to get to the green or if you stray slightly it can get rough, a bit sandy in the bunker or even a bit hazardous in the water. Do it all at Dalmuir golf course. If you hadn't guessed already I don't play the sport that spoils a good walk but when it's open the golf course is always busy so must be popular. There is a golf equipment store here at the course entrance if you should need to buy balls or whatever else an avid golfer may need. You can also hire clubs and other things needed to complete your ensemble. You will need to bring your own Pringle tank top though. There is even a little cafe on site if you need a cup of tea/coffee to quench your thirst before or after the 18 holes to be conquered. Just round the back of the cafe there are two 5 a-side football pitches/tennis courts/basketball courts.They even have a few parking spaces at the entrance too.

Great course for being a public one. Very challenging even for the more experienced player.
