Never again. Ordered a sink & pan vanity set, as per the showroom display. First, was told a bunch of lies about delivery. Called the day it was supposed to be delivered as I hadn't received an update, and was informed that the sales desk shouldn't have given me delivery information. To their credit, they managed to get it on a van and delivered that day, hence the 1 star.Any and all installer instructions were completely useless. Wrong dimensions, generic product info, and poorly displayed. Ended up making all my own measurements before installing.The sink had no fixing points, so I had to use double sided mounting tape to secure it to the vanity unit. The sink outlet leaked immediately, and I had to go out and buy an Epson basin mate. The drawers in the sink vanity unit don't disconnect, so it was a stretch fitting the taps & trap to the outlets. The hidden cistern is not centred at the flush outlet, so this had to be refitted, which also meant the flush button had to be relocated, leaving a hole in the vanity unit which I've had to buy a bung to cover up. The threads on flush button itself aren't long enough, so I had to use a router to make a half-deep hole.After installing, I spent 2 days tracing a leak. Turned out to be the pan outlet, which is slightly oval, causing a bad seal. There were no fixing points for the pan outlet, so the only thing that would seal correctly was a MacFit EVA connector.And the final indignity was at the point of sale. I was asked if I wanted to buy the chrome insert for the sink overflow. I specifically asked, does it not come boxed with one already fitted?"

Ordered a bathroom suite full of stock and although the delivery was pretty quick the driver has dumped a crate load of products in front of my door and left me myself and I can’t get it into my house on my own!? It’s a full bathroom suite. Now it’s going to have to sit in the rain until I can get a hand to get it inside and upstairs. You’d think after spending £1000+ someone would help you get inside with it! What if it were an elderly or disabled person living alone? This is pretty shocking considering most other places that sell furniture etc. help you in with your purchases!

Was advised on how many boxes of tiles to get had 1 to many but shop refused to take them back bad service as I went on their advice now am out of pocket with bad service they need to get trained people in to adv ise customers dont no if I would recommend on this poor service but fitters were very good

Haven't been here in a while and I like what they've done with the place. Much nicer showroom than before. Open, bright, everything nicely set up, good range of products. Prices are OK in my opinion. Small que of people before me. My order was processed quickly. I had to wait around 20 min. for collection, but not a problem for me.One thing I didn't like was the customer toilets. Yes, they're clean, but the gloss tiles on the floor is not a good idea. Tiles were wet from people washing and drying their hands and it was an ice rink.

Appalling after-service! I recently bought 2 Alexander James tall bathroom cabinets (£230 each) from Wholesale Domestic, a company I have used for many years. Unfortunately, one cabinet had a floor stud missing, rendering it unstable and dangerous. I took one of the other studs to the warehouse to ask for another one. The assistant spoke to her manager, then informed me that they did not keep spare parts, advising me to go to Screwfix. I explained that this was unacceptable and would be taking the matter further. I emailed the problem to customer services and received a prompt reply from David Law. He apologised and said that the warehouse did, indeed, stock small parts for such instances, offering me a voucher for £25 towards a future purchase as a gesture of goodwill. I replied that, in view of the energy, time and frustration involved, this was unacceptable and I would rather have the sum refunded to my credit card as I would not be buying from his company again. He then replied that he was sorry I felt that way, but would not be refunding any money to my credit card. His attitude is very mean-spirited and I do not think his position is legal either as the cabinet could not be used safely in its present condition.

Having purchased a new shower suite, our plumber had a problem fitting the wall hung pan and damaged one of the fittings. Wholesale domestic have been extremely helpful and prompt in offering a replacement part and communicating with me. Great service.

My experience with wholesale domestic was very disappointing to say the least. We have tried repeatedly to solve our issues with on a number of occasions. They now say we haven’t purchased any products from them. We have just got our bathroom a major overhaul. We ordered 2 different patterns of wet wall boards unfortunately 1 was short which was down to us so we ordered the remaining items that we needed. Wrong one delivered. Wrong valves for radiator, wrong drainage for sink amongst other items to long to go into. When we called to ask about them. We were requested to provide photos of wet which we did 3 times and told they were the same. We ordered tile effect the second order was plain nothing like the original order. Wouldn’t accept this although invoice clearly states tile effect. We then had pay again for the proper wet wall to get bathroom finished. Would not deliver plumbers had to travel a 90 mile round trip to collect at extra cost to ourselves although delivery was paid for.We have in touch with them won’t let us speak to a manager and they are now stating that we did not purchase anything from them. Will keep trying to deal with them but I personally would avoid at all cost dealing with them.

Staff were all very helpful, we visited the store 4 times and each time all staff were very happy to help, took their time with us to pick the right pieces. Lindsay was absolutely great, helpful and very patient with us.
