A welcoming club with no pressure. Mark J is a compassionate teacher with passion for what he teaches. Being a female I was worried about taking on the challenge of a joining a male orientated martial art with contact and weapons work, any worries I had disappeared in the first session, the whole group is welcoming and supportive and I highly recommend Bujinkan Ninjutsu Banbury if you are looking at taking up a Martial art.

Fantastic atmosphere and very welcoming group.I started training with Mark about 2 years ago and have enjoyed every minute of training in what is a very, encouraging and safe environment to learn this Martial Art and which leaves you wanting to learn more and more.Mark has an awesome way of brininging the application and techniques to life and it wasnt long into my first lesson that I knew I had found the right place to be, learning with the right instructor and encouraged by the right people. I will also add that I was born with an artificial limb (missing right forearm) and yet I still progress with this Martial Art and its great that the group assist me with finding adaptions where required.

I have trained in martial arts for over 25 years and I have to say this is a fantastic place to train! The instructor Mark has incredible knowledge and it's nice to learn a martial art that works against today's society regardless to your size. Highly recommend!!!!

In the past I’ve attended martial arts classes to find them a bit intimidating going for the first time as a beginner and as a lady in a male dominated area. With one, I looked through the window into the dojo, panicked and went home. Not so with this one. The moment I stepped through the door I felt immediately welcome.Bunjinkan is a fascinating art with a rich history and extremely applicable to real life scenarios. It’s taught by Mark, a guy with tremendous knowledge and passion and he is interested in all of his students as individuals. He is very encouraging especially when you find things tricky. The other members of the club are also very friendly and help you to learn too.I’m new to this but I’d say to anyone considering it to come and give it a try- you won’t regret it.

I have been training in Martial Arts for over 40 years and I am truly amazed by The Martial Art of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu . The instructor Mr Mark Johnston is an excellent instructor. I highly recommend this Martial Art to anyone who is looking for a Martial Art to train in, come along and see for yourselves, you will not be disappointed and get to meet a great bunch of friendly, helpful people.
