Fresco Fish Market

Saw this place some years ago, noted it and never gave it a try until today. My loss. It has a good range of everyday (haddock, cod) and interesting fish (eg, red fish, horse mackerel, cuttlefish). Just had an outstanding piece of swordfish for dinner. This could easily become a favourite destination!

Excellent selection of fresh fish, and wonderful staff! I purchased stripe bass and the gentleman working even cleaned them. As a pescatarian I know my way around a fish market and these guys are a local gem!

Good place for fresh sea food

great service - did a super job on 80 or so butterflied mackerel, bass and a bream for a wedding. good prices and super fresh. would recommend them to anyone and hope to use again.

Saw some hake it looked fresh, lovely eyes and it has a great smell . I asked if they could fillet it for me, as I was talking to another customer I’m sure they changed the fish I asked for and gave me another. When I got home and took it out of the bag it smelled horrible, old and disgusting. I will never go back. Often I have walked pass an have seen more flys than fish in the shop also all the carbon monoxide fumes from the busy traffic and the shop having no front always made me question there hygiene. Very disappointing
