Excellent meat selection. Good priced loga and kindling.Pic n mix sausages. Ask for a cut if not on show. Good veg and bread as well. Pigs trotters only 50p nice black pudding and faggots.

Nice shop with plenty of generally good produce but what has happened to your previously lovely large pies???? The steak pie had pastry that is far too thick and a thin layer of fatty meat in it. We threw the last 1/4 of pie in the bin, wont be buying those again. Hope the chicken one we bought at the same time is better. A disappointed long term customer.

Unacceptable attitude of staff member today, shocked to be told rudely over the counter in front of the cashier who also looked a little shocked to be interrupted that we would need to pay for 2 sealable bags if we did not put our meat/sausages in these brown sealable bags, never been told this before, we were not aware of any signage advising this change, the 2 bags were taken away before we could say we will put the sausages in these bags, appalling service, really would of thought if you are spending over £30 a free sealable bag would be given for meat surely? also their prices have increased quite a-lot over the month & quality of pies & sausages not the same. Not sure we will return, or recommend.

I have been coming to Ferndene for years. Lovely farm shop. Today I am massively disappointed to be told I am unable to pre order my Christmas meat and that I should just turn up nearer the time and take pot luck the meat I want will be there! This has now added to my Christmas anxiety so currently looking else where to pre order my meat. Very disappointed and the meat is lovely there. I am sure I am not alone in this disappointment ☹️

Lovely farm shop. Very busy when we went, but plenty of parking out the back, limited out the front. Have been coming here for years and it just gets better. Reasonable competitive prices. Nice adventure playground to keep kids amused. Mini garden centre.

The best farm shop we've ever been too! Great selection, great food that seems to stay fresh forever. The cakes are amazing and the focaccia is a highlight. They have a garden section with plants, flowers and bird feeders. If you are in the New Forest it's always worth a visit.

Great local produce, the hens are running in the field so you see where your eggs come from. Lots of fresh veg and quality meats.

Made a long overdue visit from Reading yesterday. My late mum and dad were regular customers here when they lived in Hordle. Still a fantastic shop. The sausages are the best I've ever tasted.

We love coming to the farmdene. Especially now they have a play park and coffee shop
