For whatever reason they are completely distrusting of young women. I went there to get medication for my acne and the doctor told me he could not prescribe me anything unless I was on birth control. I knew this wasnt true so I went to my student medical practice in Leeds and they prescribed me epiduo and lymecycline without any issues. The doctor in marsden also recommended hibiscrub to me which practically made my face peel off even when heavily diluted (I dont have sensitive skin at all). I've also had issues a few years ago at this clinic with a female GP who was supposed to give me a follow up call about birth control options but never did. This clinic seems reluctant to prescribe anything to me. I'll be sticking to the Leeds practice from now on I suppose.

Always a first class service . I work in 3 GP practices . Believe me , we are very fortunate here . All staff from admin to GPS are professional , kind , knowledgeable , sensitive and most importantly personable . Keep up the great work and be proud of what you do .Thank you Helen

Dear stuff, always kind to people but they have problems keeping their promises and appointments.We were booked in for a telephone consultation at 11:30 nobody called us. I gave them a call at 12:30 and they had said they had not seen the appointment in the system So we had to ask for a new one. The new appointment for telephone consultation should have been between 16:00-17:00. Of course nobody called us. I gave them a call at 17:04 and they said We apologize but the doctor has already gone home"....."

Staff are polite however wait times for a appointment are over 3 weeks and your appointment will be around 1 hour late when you get there.

Reception staff extremely helpful and caring. The doctors ring back on the same day. If possible, depending on the problem, a prescription can be issued over the phone and automatically sent to Boots the chemist, Marsden, ready to be picked up at your convenience.

Receptionists and nurse really nice, try to be helpful BUT.... one doctor was so patronising and unhelpful I requested to never see him again. That had to be repeatedly requested as I kept being given appointments with him.When I needed a referral I had to chase repeatedly to see if it had been sent. Received emails requesting information I had sent over more than once and had received email confirmation of receipt. Requested a meeting/conversation with the practice manager which never happened. Not even an attempt to contact me. So disappointed in the service I transferred surgeries. Not a word from them as to why I've left.Have since discovered other acquaintances have also left the surgery for similar reasons.
