Standish Dental Practice

Contacting the practice isn't an easy job. Rushed treatment. Called them during the pandemic about a problem only to be told that I am not a priority. That's fine. But then 3 months later I called to check my position in the queue only to know that I have been discharged. Why haven't I been told that before to take my case somewhere else?

The dentist treating me was Mathew. He needs to work on his patient skills He was very abrupt and un sympathetic. He dose not value his patients or how they feel. Not a good experience

After My adult son struggled to get an appointment to see a dentist, he managed to get an emergency appointment at this clinic. The lady he seen with no exaggeration saved my sons life spotting the signs that he was showing sepsis and to take him to A&E where thankfully he received the treatment he needed and is on the mend, on behalf of myself and my family we’d like to say thank you

Recently visited the practice for treatment and was dealt with very professionally by Lucy, pain free!Also, thanks to Matt for his input into my treatment and Lauren for her dental nurse skills.Thanks again for making a nervous patient feel very comfortable.

Horrendous experience. Do NOT go for a root canal with them as A) they arent qualified B) dont have the tools to do the procedure.I had a rct with them on 5th July, half way into the treatment the dentist realized they didnt have the right needle size to drill into my tooth and proceeded to drill with a size bigger which has undoubtly resulted in a bad job. After days of painful and sleepless nights, I ended up going private to find out my tooth was cracked likely as a result of the poor job and had to be extracted.I will be launching an official complaint against the practice in the coming days.

Hello, there is a dentist whose name is matthew hawkrigg , he is very wonderful and you feel safe with him. The smile has positive energy for the patient. Thank you

Visited Standish Dental Practice last night for emergency treatment (22/02/2022). I found the experience to be quite good considering i hate dentists as a whole. The dentist i saw was Mrs Nicolette Wilson and i found her patient skills to be amazing. She did multiple x-rays, did an assessment and gave me my options. I chose to have the problem tooth removed and she explained every step of the way. I must say, when i went light headed with the anaesthetic, Mrs Wilson was patient and made sure i was ok before proceeding. At the point of the tooth being removed, it became problematic - my tooth was putting up a fight and she had to call on another dentist called Matt for assistance before the numbing wore off who was able to take the tooth out. Turned out, my problem tooth had roots that were spread out like they were doing the splits. Once my tooth had been removed, Mrs Wilson told me i would need a further appointment in a couple of weeks once the extraction site had healed and settled down a bit. I can thoroughly say, I would recommend Standish Dental Practice to anyone who needs dental work doing as all staff (Receptionist, Dentists & Other Dental staff) are friendly and professional. i cant thank this dental practice enough after having a fear for over 40 years due to bad experiences with other dentists the patience this practice has shown and the dentist laura and the reception staff has been amazing i would give 10 stars

was at a diffrent dentist and had the worst experience ever fillings without numbing and not very friendly espeshily when i have a bad phobia. so changed to this one and wow couldnt feel anything, was very friendly and the dentist was amazing at his work couldnt be happier if i could gave 10 stars i would. absolutly took my fear away... AMAZING⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My partner needed dental treatment for a long time to remove a tooth root from his gum. His old practice failed at this extraction and this practice handled it in minutes. He can’t recommend them enough!!!
