Kenton Hall Care Home

By appointment, I visited the nursing home to see if I would be happy for my Mother to be there and was welcomed by Steve, the Manager. I found a very relaxing, calm, quiet nursing home with sensitive, caring, committed staff. The rooms and decor are lovely and there is a beautiful garden which is easily accessible.When my Mother was admitted there, my Mother was obviously having the very best care she needed and my family were welcomed and supported when they visited. My elderly Father, in particular, appreciated the staff he met there.Thank you to all the Team. You helped us all while my Mother was staying with you!

My sister needed a nursing home and I was not sure about Kenton Hall as I had heard unpleasant things about it. But I have to say it is amazing, it is like walking into a hotel. The rooms are large ,immaculate with their own bathroom. The staff are amazing and helpful. Well done Kenton hall. 5stars

From the first minute I set foot in Kenton Hall Nursing Home I thought it looked more like a posh hotel than residential care.Through the day, when I visited Dad, there was the usual hustle and bustle of meds, meals, cleaning and so on, but one day Dad wasn't too well so I was allowed to visit him early evening, out of normal hours, and wow!If you've ever gone to a wedding where everyone stayed at the same hotel, you'll get the idea...little groups of people chatting in lounges or cosy corners beside beautifully decorated Christmas trees, pottering around together or watching TV...such a lovely, warm, homely feel about it.So glad I got this sneak peek but so sad that I couldn't persuade Dad to move there earlier, when he was more mobile and could have engaged more.The staff are wonderful...their uniforms are colour coded so you know exactly who you speaking to.Everyone conducts themselves in a professional manner, but with care and courtesy.I would have no hesitation in recommeesnding this establishment.
