Mike and Will helped us undertake a whole-house major renovation in Brighton. The circumstances - we bought the house in Nov 2020 - were challenging especially as there were many lockdowns during renovation, and we didn't live in Brighton to oversee much. However, we were in safe hands. Mike and Will were involved at all stages from early designs through to the finishing touches. They had ideas that would never have occurred to us and now that we live here, the flow of the house works really well. They helped sort problems (not their fault) along the way, in fact even a whole year on! Through lockdowns they adapted methods to work and communicate remotely and we met on site visits too. They are professional and good value. We would definitely recommend them, and use them again, though I hope we don't need to for a good long time yet!

It's been an absolute pleasure to work with Will and Mike on the extension and full renovation of our house. From the first meeting we were blown away with home professional and yet relatable they both were, we never felt like our questions were invalid or that our opinions were being overshadowed by architectural input. We went through several iterations, going over 3D models and floorplans multiple times and even during the build phase tweaking and changing things and it never once felt like an inconvenience.Despite some instability during the construction we were absolutely confident knowing we had both Will and Mike on the end of the phone to talk things through and on site visits we were able to really pick their brains about how things were coming together and areas that might need their input etc.FAB went above and beyond to help make our project a success and were absolutely invaluable, we would highly recommend them to anyone and will not hesitate to get in touch for any future projects we undertake.

Mike and Will designed my garden studio where I undertake professional conservation work. With large arched windows and a skylight they have created the best possible lighting conditions for me. Even on a gloomy rainy day I have enough natural daylight coming into the studio which benefits my type of work hugely. The pandemic has changed the outlook on how we work. I used to rent studio space in London which was within cycling distance form my home. But now I save a lot of time by just walking down my garden path. Everyone who comes to visit is full of admiration for my new work space and I am so happy here. I can highly recommend Fab Architects. During the initial meeting they listened carefully to all my requirements and designed the building accordingly with some fantastic details like the beautiful Italian brick slips on the outside. It is small, but due to the layout I can fit large paintings in here quite easily and with extra high security my clients are also very happy.

Thoroughly recommend FAB Architects. I had to get planning permission for a path to enable me to get my mobility scooter out. I had no idea how to go about it but found FAB Architects. They came round and explained the procedure to me and once I confirmed everything, they lodged the application for me. FAB Architects managed the project for our restaurant conversion and we could not have been happier with the outcome. He advised and acted as agent on all planning matters. He designed our commercial kitchen and oversaw the building and compliance with building regulations. He sourced and oversaw the implementation of a bespoke internal filtration system ensuring compliance with council guidelines. He advised on operational elements and sound dulling measures for the dining area. Throughout the project Will showed a commitment to delivering our vision to the highest standard, with excellent communication, and a keen understanding of our tight deadline. The project was completed to the highest specification and we found Will's manner in dealing with other people working on the team to be outstanding. We are bespoke furniture makers and FAB asked us to provide a quote from the drawings they provided. These were well thought out, clearly presented and we were able to accurately determine costs from them. When faced with the challenge of renovating our untouched late-Victorian seaside terrace in Hove, the shortcomings were immediately evident. A series of outdated rear extensions had resulted in a narrow kitchen with inconsistent, low ceiling heights, compromising both flow and light. Our vision was to craft a more expansive kitchen through a side return extension, convert the loft space, and curate a large master suite on the 1st floor.Given our home's location in a conservation area, getting through the planning process required plans that respected the buildings history while infusing the modern touches we desired.
