Came here on a recommendation but am sadly very disappointed. The chips are soggy along with the batter on the fish which is also far from fresh which lends me to think that all the great" reviews are totally made up. Definitely not one I shall be returning to especially when I paid £4.50 for small fish and chips!!"

Unfortunately we did not find the Haddock & Chips at all good. The batter was so tough I had to use a saw knife to cut through it. The fish did flake, yet we'd ordered the premium large haddock at £5.30 each, ( chips extra at £1.80)). We were very disappointed as an expensive takeout.The chips were pale and not crispy....rather bendy and soggy.We will be sticking with our favourite place in Brigg from now on....Scalinis.

Never had an issue with hungry fisherman. Ordered and paid for chips to pick up at 4:30 after child's dance class, to enable me to also catch the 4:40 bus. Chips weren't even started to be wrapped meaning at 4:30 meaning by the time they were done I had missed my bus and had to wait another hour. Had my Chips been wrapped and ready at 4:30 (as requested) I would have been straight on the bus home

We called in last week gross! Undercooked, greasy, waste of money my husband was nearly sick feom what he ate we left most and left will not be returning.

Food very good. We had the fish special - haddock, chips, peas, bread and butter, coffee or tea. Exceptional value in these times, good service and excellent quality. Will be going again.

Best fish and chips we have ever tasted in Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire with free peas and curry sauce it's good value takeaway food, friendly staff can't fault it

Chips nothing to rave about. Never give scraps when you ask for them. Batter is always raw on the inside. Staff seem miserable.
