Ruth Graham Funeral and Wedding Celebrant

Ruth conducted our wedding ceremony yesterday and we could not have asked for anything more. The service was beautiful! We clicked from the first conversation, Ruth is very friendly and easy to talk to, She provided lots of ideas that we had not even thought of which made the process much easier when we didn't really know what sort of service we wanted. Highly recommended.

Ruth was really accommodating from the beginning, outlining ideas and what was achievable. We met with her and hit it off immediately – she had the balance right between humour / the serious elements to the ceremony and the personal touches which was really important to us. Ruth made the process easy – ensuring she added in bits we wanted and adding her own bits along the way. My husband and I had our original wedding ceremony in Florida but had a big ceremony for friends and family in England on Feb 9th 2019. We wasn't sure exactly what we wanted our ceremony to be like and I was especially worried about who to book and how to plan everything. As soon as we met Ruth we immediately felt at ease. She made us feel comfortable and I instantly completely trusted her. We booked Ruth straight away and she was amazing at staying in contact with us and planning everything to fit us as a couple perfectly. On the day the ceremony was absolutely perfect and better than I could have ever imagined. The timing was perfect and everybody loved it. All our guests commented on how amazing Ruth was and how perfect the ceremony was. It reflected both my husband and I and felt so intimate and personal. I couldn't recommend Ruth enough. This time last year Ruth carried out our dad's funeral for us. She is amazing. She captured our wishes, she gave us a lovely service. She did him proud. Amazing lady helping us celebrate his life.

We did not want a religious service, and wanted to focus more on the joy and happiness of our mum's life, and that is exactly what we go. It was beautiful and full of warmth, love and happiness. Having read the excellent reviews of Ruth online, we decided to engage her services for my Mum's funeral. I'm so glad we chose Ruth. As other reviews have said, she is extremely helpful, caring and professional. When she came to visit us, she seemed genuinely interested in knowing as much as possible about Mum's life. She produced a draft transcript for the service, which we were very happy with. We did make a few changes to this, but in essence we used the content suggested by Ruth based on our meeting.The service was as lovely and moving as we had hoped and we received some wonderful feedback from our family and friends. One of my Mum's friends said 'this is the funeral service I want' to his wife. And another presumed that Ruth did actually know my Mum. We really couldn't have been happier with Ruth's input and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for your special ceremony. Whilst ours was a funeral, I'm sure Ruth would adapt very well to whatever occasion, as other reviewers have said.

I attended a wedding that Ruth conducted in the role of celebrant and I can honestly say it was fantastic. She has an amazing ability to put the wedding couple at ease as well as involving the entire audience in the proceedings - the service she wrote clearly touched all the right points because the happy couple enjoyed every minute of it.I spoke to both the bride and groom and other members of the party afterwards and everyone said they loved how Ruth wrote the service and conducted the ceremony.

We hired Ruth for our Daughter’s Naming Ceremony, and I can’t recommend her enough! We decided against a more traditional christening for many reasons, but had no real idea what our service would actually include. We met with Ruth at her home and told her all about ourselves and how our Daughter has entered the world, and from that she made the most beautiful and personal service I could have wished for. Everyone has complimented us on just how different and special it was to other more traditional christenings they had attended. We were included in all the elements and Ruth kept in contact with us regularly. I will certainly look to hire Ruth again if the need should arise :)
