Beautiful pub, amazing views and atmosphere, the food is really good, however, when we visited a lot of the dishes were already sold out but it wasn't even that late

Excellent service from a friendly team. Nice enough food, but pretty standard pub grub trying to be something it's not.Lovely fireplace and comfy chairs, but some of the background music was clashing with the setting.

Nicely restored farmhouse and barn as a sophisticated pub and restaurant. The whole experience of having a relaxing drink at the bar and then followed up by a dinner at the restaurant is simply amazing. Serving staff is always courteous and polite. Quality of food is a minor let down.

Firstly it's an amazing looking pub. The outside area has loads of seating, including a few tables and chairs set up to over look the large pond.Inside it's really big and spacious with exposed beams and a real fire.Foodwise we had the roast which was great, although the potatoes let it down a bit. Son had the burger which he loved albeit it was on the smaller side.Whilst the staff were really friendly we did find ourselves having to chase a bit.

Lovely setting, food was very good, but was not offered a lunch menu and given only the a la carte, I had to ask for the lunch menu, although I didn't order from this, still would have been nice to be offered.

The Barn was beautifully decorated and was very festive. However, a Sunday was very busy and so it was really quite noisy. Not always easy to keep conversation going on your own table. Food was okay. My husband said his turkey was a bit thin however. I had the veggie Wellington which unfortunately was not good. Indiscriminate veg and a really tasteless meat substitute that was just unnecessary and certainly not included on the menu description as I wouldn't have chosen it. I think the worst thing was the price however. £40 for a main, a side, 2 glasses of wine and one coffee! £80 for a couple!

Stunning barn conversion, high ceilings and fireplaces dotted around. Such a gorgeous place to spend a few hours at. I sat outside for a little while too, in their lovely covered outdoor terrace with heaters. We ordered the roast for 4 and it was delicious. I can't wait to go back.

The Chefs Table was outstanding! Just amazing flavours, beautifully combined to complement each other, presented stylishly without being fussy. Loved the wine flight too, really thought provoking and the perfect accompaniment. The whole evening was thoroughly enjoyable.. personal service, great ambience, log fires, atmospheric barn.. thank you to Hugh, Ashley, Ruthie and the team. We’ll be back very soon
