Staff are lovely, Jess is always so helpful at reception, rooms are nice and modern, also have a lot of events going in reception which is good

First year living at Saw Mill. Everything was great for the entire year I stayed, until the moment I checked out, when I was billed £40 for wall damage I didn't cause. There were some barely noticeable marks on one of the bedroom walls I never even noticed and therefore never mentioned in the inventory I did after check-in.I asked the previous tenant and they said the marks were already there when they checked in last year, but they weren't billed for them at check-out, unlike me (they didn't mention the marks in the inventory either).It's funny how staff have no records" of these marks ever being there

Saw Mill have really helped me as a student this year. Jess and Craig have been extremely helpful during my stay at Saw Mill. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they are always happy to have a chat with the students about how they are doing and anything they can do to improve. The maintenance and housekeeping services offered are top notch. If an issue arises, they fix it immediately and without fuss. All the staff at Saw Mill are a credit to Capitol Students. It is located at a prime location with both the University and shops within walking distance. Rooms are spacious, and provide a lot of storage. Extremely good place to live, and made me feel very comfortable loving up to Huddersfield and away from my family.

Saw mill is a really good accommodation. I am currently in a premium ensuite room and it is perfect! It is very modern and spacious and there is a lot of storage space. The accommodation also put on many student friendly events to help you along the way, such as pizza nights and quizzes. They’re also lots of freebies on occasions such as brownies on Valentine’s Day or advent calanders at Christmas. Overall it is a very friendly place to live and I would recommend highly.

3rd year living at sawmill, it's close to campus no more than a 10 minute walk. I've stayed in both Premier 1 and classic ensuite rooms, both types of room are lovely and spacious. It's been really good, the staff are friendly and always ready to help. Plenty of shops close by so saves yourself from having to trek far.

Its my 4th year here in Saw Mill and I have enjoyed all of my 4 years. Its lively and having all amenities at a very fair prices and at 5 minutes walk from university and health centre. Its 5 minutes walk from all groceries stores. A correct example of location, location and location.

Living at Saw Mill is made so easy by staff and everyone around. Staff are great and are always on hand to help with any issues whether it’s maintenance or other issues. Craig and Jess on reception are lovely and really helpful. It’s great feeling safe around the shared areas of Saw Mill and in your own flats.

Moved in at saw mill in September 2021, since my first day at their student accommodation they have been very helpful with everything.The people that work at the front desk are always smiling, this is something everyone appreciate.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are a good size and can live with friends. Good price range for a student. Areas to study and have a good time. Very lovely accommodation simple but modern.
