Great spot for food. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced! We went for the carvery and every single item I had was awesome!Coffee options were minimal, but that’s just my own personal preference.

Owner wasn't a nice person. Food was disgusting.Lager was disgusting. I would say pipes need cleaning. He turned away four ladies and then let another two have the choice of breakfast room or restaurant. We never got this choice. We will never be back. Please don't waste your money

Nice Sunday carvery, meat and vegetables with gluten free gravy. Stuffing , nut roast cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire puddings not gluten free.

We stopped here for an evening meal food was lovely I had steak (with Diane sauce which chef made) my husband had mixed grill. Staff were very friendly especially the young guy behind the bar what a credit to this hotel.

This used to be our local 42 years ago when we worked close by. We were welcomed warmly and were pleased to see that the old stables had been incorporated into the bar area. The atmosphere has definitely been retained. The fact that the locals come regularly speaks heaps. We enjoyed two lovely evening meals in our three day stay. Our breakfasts were tasty with some choice and our room had plenty of space with a view out over the sheltered beer garden.

Passed this lovely hotel many times and today we decided to try their Carvery. Great move ! First carvery we have been to that the staff ask you if you have enough meat on your plate or would you like more? The chef came out to speak to us which was a lovely touch. The staff we attentive and efficient and the food was lovely. Good price too. The Proprietor was very nice and the hotel is dog friendly (dogs allowed in the bar area). Cracking peaceful outside seating area for nice summer days. All in all a very pleasant experience. We will certainly dine there again !

What can I say....Start by saying that we visited here for dinner. There was 6 adults and my 5 year old. Place was very welcoming friendly atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. We were on staying local for the weekend and were returning home next day but myself and partner and 5yr old went in again for lunch.. The steak pie...Amazing. and yes it comes on the plate and not in a silly little bowl. Best steak pie for a pub we've had. Safe to say we would definatly recommend and will be back. We stay in Fife but for that steak pie 3hrs round trip would be worth it. Thank you
