Bought a lovely used Rock Jam keyboard from here. Lots of advice, given before purchase, so thanks as complete novice on such items.

Great music shop where they cover just about everything to make music. The staff are great and very helpful whether you are after a plectrum or mouth organ or a drum kit they can get you it at a great price to pluck.

Great communication, went out of their way to help me, I now have a great guitar at a great price, delivered next day. What more can you ask for ! Excellent

I've been coming to this shop for close to 20 years and bought multiple instruments. Great choice of instruments and equipment. Guitars, basses, ukuleles, pianos, amps, mics and many other things. Deals on plectrums at the counter. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Good choice of guitar and piano books. Noticeboard in the entryway to shop often has people offering/seeking tutoring or bandmates. There is a one hour disc zone just outside the front of the shop.

Went in with a view to trading my guitar and buying a few acoustic things. Great music shop, so glad i found it. Will be back before the end of the month to do business. The shop had a nice aurora" to it. Beats online purchases everytime!!!"

Two hours before playing a gig at The Brickyard venue around the corner, my bass decided to fail on me. It was an easy fix but we needed a soldering iron to get it sorted. The chaps at Rainbow came to our rescue and saved the day, helping us to get the bass fixed up. Really appreciated. We got the chance to have a look around the shop and they've got a great range of gear. Will be visiting again next time we're up that way. Thanks so much!

A great selection of guitars but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired.I’ll always support local businesses where I can, this is paramount in keeping them on our high street but the general attitude of the two shop owners has forced me into shopping exclusively at one of the bigger online stores.No appreciation for the business and no enthusiasm when asking about their guitars.It’s a shame!

Highly Recommended. As an experienced guitar buyer who has frequented many a music store both small independents and larger outlets, I have to say this is one of the best stores in the UK. The staff are relaxed but attentive, not pushy in the slightest, very patient and accommodating. I now have a lovely Gibson J45 as they helped me trade some guitars in. I’ve also requested special orders and the guys are quick to check with their reps and communicate clearly and honestly about timescales and cost. The prices are usually very competitive. There seems to be good after sales service too. This place is a real hidden gem. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I will definitely be back for more! Life is too short not to buy good instruments from good people!

Was thrilled with the service I received. I almost bought my guitar from one of the large online retailers but wasn't getting any replies to my questions. Rainbow Music were completely different. Their responses were quick and super informative. They were quick to send photos of the neck for me to check. They dispatched the guitar so it arrived exactly when I asked for it to. Their setup and checking of the guitar was spot on. I'm so glad I found them and would go to them first if I want a new guitar in the future.
