Paul Poole Mountaineering

Just completed my ML assessment with Paul and Pete. I didn't think you could learn and laugh so much during an assessment... but we certainly did! They both instantly put you at ease with their calming approach and brought out the best in all of us. I've done my ML training, contour masterclass (Really recommend this!) and ML assessment through Paul Poole and wouldn't use anyone else!

I have done several courses with Paul and his team and each time I have learnt and been able to apply many new skills in the outdoors. Paul is a friendly, patient, knowledgeable and highly skilled professional who has that rare skill of being able to put you at ease immediately whilst also getting the best out of you. On my recent ML assessment with Paul and Pete I again came away with so much valuable advice and tips to take forward in my career. Fantastic few days of climbing in Wales. Paul is a fantastic teacher and a wealth of information. Highly recommended.
