Almost typical small Hotel in a rural area, but the scenery, the food and the welcome from the staff are heartwarmingly welcome. A hidden gem, not without issues (older building issues - not enough sockets, poorer wi-fi) but we managed, ate heartily and would without doubt come back again!

Lovely welcome from the woman at reception, but she seemed to be doing three or four jobs in one. The views were beautiful and the room was nice, but hotel is in dire need of an update; felt a little like we were in a care home at breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Everything was well organised and the food, especially the dinner, was delicious. Also it was reasonably priced. View from the hotel was amazing.When we wanted to leave our car wouldn't start due to a flat battery. We got very quick help from the hotel an they jumped our car within a few minutes

Great little hotel on the hill. Owners and staff were amazing, the lady that checked us in was super chatty and lovely.I'd say this hotel is rustic, big dining room and bar area with stove fire keeping it warm. Room large, lots of space and did the job perfectly.. sadly the mattresses are thin and spent the night feeling the springs digging Into us... Not a great sleep.The food however is amazing!!! Food blew me away, starters are large in sizes and main meals were great... Amazing portion sizes, well made and very very tasty!!10/10 for food all day long!!!!We would visit again, enjoy my time in the bar with the locals for a drink.

Good hotel . Needing a bit of tlc on the outside soffits. Carpets a bit tired looking but food and ambience good. Great views from the hotel.

Lovely welcome set the scene for a delightful stay in this hotel. The room was large and airy with dual outlook over the fishing harbour on one side and the Loch out to the sea on the other. Very clean terrific shower. Evening meal was very nice and the breakfast superb. The lady who runs the place seems to definitely have tight control over everything and it shows. Would defo stay here again next time I’m in the area.

Rooms are showing their age but the hotel was friendly. Good, reasonably priced food served in the evening and a generous freshly cooked breakfast.

genuinely Highland hotel, local very friendly staff, fantastic location with amazing views. Contrary to some feedback we had a really good meal, and all at very sensible prices. The views from every window can only be described as stunning. Yes, a bit of TLC and an odd splash of new paint may not go amiss, and the frontage on arrival does it no favours either, but once you're beyond that it becomes very quaint and typically rural. If you want genuine Highland reality you'll love it, but if you prefer 5 star city comfort its maybe not for you. I personally appreciate both, but would definitely visit here again.

Hotel was fantastic, do not listen to the bad reviews on google! It is super easy to find, staff are the friendliest people the food is great breakfast & dinner. Bar area gives social club vibes and the decor is slightly old but nothing is missing, broken or mouldy. The social club vibe gives the hotel character. Rooms are massive, shower was warm and the bed was comfy! Would highly recommend this as a stay for the views out the window alone. We also had our dog with us who was treated fantastically!
