Eva's Hair and Nail City

The nail staff here are rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional, unpleasant, disorganised, unskilled , absolute muppets. My nails looked like a college student was practicing. Having my nails done is a treat for me as I hardly ever have time to myself so when I get my nails done I like to get them down proper the whole shebang bling and everything. They took the absolute piss my nails looked like potatoes growing from the end of my fingers. I left the salon in tears!! When I went to complain and ask for a removal and my money back, they tried to charge me for the removal and tell me that nothing was wrong with my nails!!!!!! The lady that did them was clearly embarrassed and defensive instead of professional and apologetic. Absolutely disgusting NEVER AGAIN.

I went to Eva's to get my hair braided (cornrows) and I was very pleased. Tina was super fast, super thorough and she listened to all my suggestions. They are all super friendly. It is not a gamorous place but the staff is great, the atmosphere laid back and my appointment was on time. What else can I ask for? I will come back

This is one star only because I couldn’t give zero. The whole experience in this nail technicians was terribly shambolic. It is the worst nail shop I have ever been to the service was beyond pathetic. The nails themselves are a very bumpy, bendy and sad excuse for stiletto nails, I only had them for a week and they are falling off. Both the woman and the man were very rude, impatient and disrespectful to my choices. They didn’t put anything to protect my nail at the end and they drilled half of my skin off at the cuticle of my nail.

I really like it there , the staff are really nice and funny. I got corn row French plats which I love!! And my mum got a weave which looks amazing. They make you feel like your at home! My mum is good friends with Eva and some other staff which is nice and they always deliver what you want !

I saw Ava last week Saturday to get my hair done. She made me two amazing wigs and also washed and conditioned my hair. I’ve been seeing Ava for over 10 years now and she always does a fantastic job!Ava works so hard and is always patient with me. She is most accommodating and aims to make you leave happy with your new hair.She has an open door policy and never turns anyone away. She will always try her best to see you on the same day.Please give her a try as you won’t be disappointed if you stick with her.I would highly recommend Ava’s Hair Salon.Thanks so much Ava for your professional service as always!

Went there to get my sew in, the woman who sewn my extensions in was very unprofessional. First of all, she was talking on her phone while doing my hair, secondly she seemed like she was in a rush and was making me feel like I was asking for too much. Thirdly, she pricked me with the needle so many times because she was distracted on her phone. Definitely won't be coming here again, not worth the money.

I've had a gel overlay on my nails twice now and have been able to walk in and get them done without waiting. Each time they have been quick but also very precise and they look great. I've tried a couple of other places but would just go here now. The first time they lasted 5 weeks - hopefully they will again this time. They don't talk much but I didn't mind that at all.

The last time i went to this asian nail salon was about 7 years ago and i recieved a great reception from the woman that worked there. So today i thought id treat myself and paid another visit. The lady who use to do my nails was not there, but there was another woman. I could not believe the share attitude and ordasity of this woman. She was a bully , pressurising me to take what she wanted. I asked to look at the selection - she refused and just kept being forceful and disrespectful. She was so full on . Just a few minutes before she was ever so nice and pleasant to a white woman but when i came to do my nails she acted like i was about to rob her nail collection. There was a male nail designer whom i use to see and he was nice enough to try and provide me with service , but because of the horrible reception i recieved from the woman, it set the tone and completely put me off . I will not be going back . Which is a shame as i use to love having my nails done there..

This is one star because I can’t put zero. The man and woman that work in the nail section are absolutely appalling. The way they spoke to me and my friend was disgusting. My nails are wonky, unfinished and discoloured. When I went back to ask for them to change the colour they told me to sit and ignored me for 20 minutes. The man, Lee, was throwing his paint brush around and shouting in Chinese when he ignored my friends request for him to stop putting glitter on her nails. I can’t believe I have given this establishment money, they’re that bad. They were rude and aggressive and made me and my friend feel so intimidated and uncomfortable. I will not be going here ever again

Nipped in today to get nails done ready for holiday. The atmosphere was awful. Conversation by Eva’s hair employees was loud, critical, judgemental. The last straw was this comment “you know, one of them white girls that has two glasses of wine and ends up pregnant not knowing who the dad is”.When this and the whole tone of the conversation was challenged politely, I got this in return “well, they do”! Followed by “take your crusty self out of the shop”, “you look like a man”. The young woman employee began a twisted tirade. Repeatedly shouting, demanding an answer: then shouting over my answer.Nail salon staff and customers all felt uncomfortable.
