Express Car Parking

Absolute rip off! Picked up my sister and its £4 for 10 mins. I went 2 mins over as they waited for a bag, was then charged a further £2. No signage to tell u how to pay. Website not helpful either. By the way you put money in the barrier on the way out! Lots of people looking for an actual pay machine. No staff either to ask. Terrible!!

I used to like to sit in the cafes, drink my cofffee, chew on cakes, while waiting.Well, tarmac under 4 weels is more profitable I guess, not too sweet neither. Cafes are no fun neither, empty and even more expensive, economising on ingredients too.The charges are pure robbery, someone is being greedy.£4 for up to 15 min,£11 for up to an hour.

Used this car park to drop off my daughter and family as they were flying from Newcastle Airport. Its right beside the entrance to the airport. However, charges apply. £4 for up to 10 mins and it goes up to £6 and so on. 10 mins is very close, especially if you have a queue to get out of the car park. I would recommend using the metro instead. However, this doesn't run overnight, so parking companies can charge what they like

£92 for 7 days was bad enough had to park a long distance away as it was so busy luckily there is a shuttle bus service. Bus driver both times very friendly and funny guys the stars are Purley for them.

Absolute rip off, I was trying to get to the free pick up point in short stay 2 car park but when you enter all I could see was either long stay or pick up. As soon as you go near the pick up lane you're stuck being hit by ANPR and being charged way too much. There's ticket machines inside the car park which I tried to use but they asked for a ticket to make payment, it had me wondering if I'd entered and not taken a ticket so tried to buzz for help on a machine - that was a waste of time.I found that you just pay on your way out at the barrier.Total rip off. Money making scam. Shame on you Newcastle Airport.

Omg is this place a rip off. I picked my sister up i checked her flight ect landed on time. So i pulled up to get her. There was a mix up with cases ! I waited 30 mins she panicked and told me to leave carpark as its expensive by the time i got round to pay it cost me £8.00. I then had to drive around till i found a side streetEventually she was ready i again pulled in to get her. Of course que of cars. It cost me a further£ 3.00. So £11.00 just to pick up my sister. Absolute robbery.

FYIThere is a 15 mins free drop off in short stay 2 car park. If you are picking up from airport then wait until your passengers call you before going in so 10 mins is plenty. The express car par is straight over the roundabout with the big screen above then drive straight through the barriers, if you turn left before you go through those barriers you go in to the minibus area which is more expensive. Do not go in the overheight / minibus car park unless you have one.You can wait in the garage for a Maximum of 30 mins but you CANNOT pick up or drop off there, it is camera controlled.I wait at the Macdonald at Kingston park, 10 min drive.Many of these other reviews are giving really high prices but thats mainly due to going in the wrong car park.Lets be fair, £4 is nothing really if you are just doing a one off pick up, especially if you have paid £100s or thousands for your holiday.

Came to read reviews to see if I had missed a free drop off point at the airport but I see everyone else has had the same experience. Dropped husband off at the airport, drop off took maybe 30 seconds, and then we were gone, and to cost me £4! Absolutely extortionate.

Good access to the airport, stupidly expensive, to the point at every local layby is full of people waiting to arrive at the airport.. not cool Newcastle airport

Complete rip off, system set up to charge you as much as they can. It takes longer to get out due to the queues than it does to drop off.
