Had cobbled together a bunch of parts to build a guitar but didn't have the tools or knowledge to put it all together into a great guitar. Andy was great, and much faster than I had expected, and now I have a new fave strat! Excellent service, would recommend

Great shop to deal with, Andy is a real craftsman and so very skilled and knowledgeable. I will be taking all my guitars to NCG in the future for setups, and any other work needed. Great guy, first class workmanship and very good prices.

Terrible set up for bass. I originally came in for a fret dress due to a high fret causing buzz. (This was a few years back and I'm still salty) I was told that it was because the truss rod was too tight" and that he'd only do a setup. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and I let him do what he suggested.I was ultimately handed a bass that played like it cost £100 and had just been unboxed having been sent from China. To his credit he listened to my requests for tweaks

Andy gave my Les Paul a fret dress and set up and it is beautiful to play now.He's an expert luthier and nice chap; I enjoyed talking to him and looking around his shop, which is really cool, laid out in front of his his work shop.I'll definitely be going to Andy again with any technical issues I have and when I need to buy a new guitar.

Thanks so much Andy for a great job on my acoustic! Plays so much better now it's been properly set up.. now I can only blame my own poor technique and not the instrument! I'd recommend Andy to any guitarist looking for a top quality set up or repair
