Saturn Machine Knives

Incorrectly sharpened blades.I’ve used this company in past few years for blade resharpening upon for my wood chipper. When my wood chippers bearings broke for 2nd time in 6 months there was an investigation to why this happened. The wood chipper manufacturers confirmed that my blades had been sharpened incorrectly and unbalanced and therefore wrecked my bearings costing £2000 inc vat each time. After 30+ phone calls ( metalogist at lunch, day off and finished early amongst we’re excuses I was answered with ), various emails and even a letter from the wood chipper manufacturer to Saturn Machine Knives I got one email to say there would be no liability accepted on their behalf. I sent the blades back to them to measure and they agreed they were out but not enough for bearings to break. Also that because the blades had some signs of dirt in them ( they’re hardly going to be polished clean after use ) that would contribute more. I’ve not had the blades returned back to me and they weee also sharpened to below manufacturers recommended width. They’re word against mine obviously, big company against small tree surgery company. No blades returned so far.I would think twice as to using this company and measure every single blade you’ve had sharpened as apparently they cannot be held responsible if you put them on your machine.

Worst service I have ever experienced. They lost my blades and then told me sorry we can't reimburse you! Quite unbelievable. Never ever use them. The guy that owns the company also owns lots of other companies and I can imagine he runs them in the same disgraceful way. Avoid at all cost. I am pursuing legal action.

This has got to be the worst company we have ever dealt with. We made an order 4 weeks ago and it still isn't here. They have done nothing but lie on the phone about the arrival of our order. The money was taken out of the bank straight away and since then we have just been lied to time and time again, If the were honest from the beginning about the time scales of when we would receive our grinding stones we would of used midland abrasives. I have spent hours on the phone chasing over the past month, in the end I was forced into buying more blades from them and they wouldn't even offer a discount. Even though we have over 30 sets that we can't sharpen because of the poor costumer care.AWFULCOMPLETE WASTE OF TIME, NOTHING BUT LIES AND POOR COMMUNICATION.

what an absolute shambles!the worst customer service i have experienced in over 13 years in the industry.first of all i was promised next day deliverywhich never happened (which cost me time and money) i was told they didn't know what had happened with my blades???3 weeks later and multiple calls i finally!!! got my money back.cowboys avoid at all costs

A terrible company , sent my blade off for a quick turn around there website states 3 days but 4/5 weeks later they arrived back , I also brought a spare set. They set the wrong blades took a couple of weeks to get them picked up and I’ve still not received my new blades , that was about 3 months ago. Everytime I ring and speak to someone they are ment to phone me back and never do. Utterly appalling.

Really happy with the service.Turn around was within a week and blades came back razor sharp and well packed.Will be using again and happily recommend to colleagues.

Purchased the wrong chainsaw blades....Saturn made me some the correct size and didn't charge me a penny... So great customer service performed at speed...Rotatech chains are some of the best I have used

i ordered a set of blades on Monday morning and paid for next day delivery, the package was returned to Saturn on Tuesday because the delivery label fell off. They despatched the package again on Wednesday and the courier tried to deliver to the wrong address on Thursday, so I might get delivery on Friday if I am lucky. Next day delivery takes 4 days to arrive.This is my first and LAST order with Saturn as they are totally incompetent!And have I been offered any compensation or a refund? NO!
