Absolutely superb. Loved every minute of it.The staff both in reception and in the bar were super helpful and professional.Rooms were lovely and had everything that you needed.Will definitely recommend and stay again.Well done to everyone involved.

Whilst Dakota is stunning, unfortunately cleanliness standards and service makes the stay less enjoyable. For the price you pay you would expect a lot more, but we were left unimpressed.My partner and I stayed here for our 4 year anniversary. Staff were a hit or miss. The man we had on check in was nice and helpful, however other staff were very cold and unbothered.As for our room. We chose classic king. One nice thing is that staff left us a small bag with white chocolate buttons.Now, for a budget hotel, maybe a few marks may be expected, but for Dakota, not so much. Every surface had marks, stains and prints, which means it was not even touched. Bath had hairs. My partner and I are very understanding people (too understanding sometimes probably, but we work in customer service based jobs so never ever want to be the difficult customer), so we just went down to reception to ask if they had wipes so we could clean it ourselves, they said they would send a cleaner. Staff seemed bothered by the request, no apology was offered. Cleaner came up, when we showed her the marks etc she said “okay but… i already cleaned here” and laughed. we told her it was okay and kindly asked if she would just clean the dirty areas. Again, no apology, just walked out. TV also did not work.Another thing to note, on the room description, it says robes and slippers are included in the room on their website. None were in our room. So again, we asked kindly if we could grab some from them and we were told they weren’t included. We showed them where it said otherwise on the website, and again, staff were cold and blunt.Any other issues we had after this we left as we didn’t want to seem like we were the kind of people that found anything to complain about.Overall, just very upset that something we were really looking forward to was clouded by below average service.

A Remarkable Stay in Manchester!I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in Manchester and it exceeded all expectations. The rooms were not only spacious but impeccably clean, providing a comfortable retreat after spending an intense day at the office. The highlight, however, was the breakfast - a fantastic spread that catered to all tastes. The restaurant in the lobby exuded a fabulous atmosphere, creating the perfect setting for memorable dining experiences. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Manchester!

Beautiful hotel and nice location, with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Very modern and friendly staff. The only downside is that the decor is all very dark. There is no much light in the bedrooms, or even in the lounge or restaurant. I was having breakfast and in the ground floor and it felt like 10 pm.

Wow. What a fantastic hotel - so beautiful inside and so much attention to detail. All of the staff really make everything feel so smooth and nothing was too much trouble. We chose the champagne and rose petals for our room which were beyond beautiful and such a romantic touch. Just want to say a HUGE thank you to Lilly and Latitia. Both were so lovely to chat to and made checking in and out an incredibly enjoyable and easy process. We bumped into one minor issue which was dutifully and respectfully followed up when mentioned, really putting the customers first in every way. Cannot thank the Dakota team enough for such a special stay we won’t be forgetting any time soon :)

Rooms are great, check in staff were lovely and the hotel decor makes it a really nice place to be. However the experience was somewhat ruined when I tried to order breakfast. I called down to order and they said it would be over an hour for breakfast to come because their kitchen was about to get busy"? Which didnt make sense as if its nit busy now why cant they just send an order up before it gets busy. A sad end to a usually nice stay at this hotel."

Incredible restaurant with incredible food. The Rib-eye streak was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The Parmesan fries were also cooked beautifully. Our waiter Hans was impeccable and delivered one of the best fine-dining experiences we have ever had. 10/10 recommend!!

We went to the terrace bar for a birthday celebration. Absolutely lovely and great quality from the bar and drinks to the staff - couldn’t have asked for better service. Saff was absolutely amazing and the rest of the team were really attentive. Couldn’t fault them. First time we have been and will definitely be back and recommend to everyone we know purely down to customer service !!

We recently tried the tasting menu at the restaurant over my husband’s birthday weekend. The impeccable service was matched only by the exquisite cuisine. The menu showcased a perfect fusion of flavors, each dish meticulously crafted and presented. Every aspect of the evening, from the attentive staff, esp. Evie, to the culinary masterpieces, contributed to a memorable and delightful dining experience.

Bar ambience perfect, restaurant & food lovely. The complimentary signature dish was delicious, staff couldn't do enough for our Party of family & friendsOur Party where there for 4 hrs just eating & drinking with no care in the World, and at no time did the fabulous staff put any pressure for us to vacate the table.Fantastic experience, will definitely be heading back to Dakota of Manchester.
