Museum Practice

I've been to many GP surgeries, and this is by far the best I've ever been to. Pretty quick to pick up the phone (none of that 10th in queue business), I've managed to get urgent and even same-day appointments on a range of issues, and the GPs have generally always managed to find me a solution (from hip pain to blood tests to mental health etc). I have always been treated professionally and respectfully - the GPs and other staff here are brill!

Dr Freeman is amazing. She’s extremely gentle and caring, taking me a as a patient seriously. She chat with me when I felt very nervous. She’s very experienced and nice.

I rarely leave reviews of health centres but I really felt it was worth it in this case because this place is really special. Having been a patient at over 5 health centres in Hackney, Camden, and Oxford in the last 10 years, the Museum Practice stands out for its easy and quick appointment scheduling, friendly receptionists and truly kind nurses and doctors, who actually take the time to listen to what you need with a real sense of care not found at other clinics. Not all clinics are made alike in London, you really need to choose one with good reviews, so I'm leaving this to help others in future. A big thanks to all of the staff here for making the experience of getting healthcare much less unpleasant than it might be otherwise.

I used to be a patient at Museum Practice but changed when we moved areas. It is one of four different GPs i've used in London with the NHS. They were the best by quite some way. Everyone was always politely friendly and professional. We could always get appointments when we needed and walk-in times had short waits. I just wish my GP in my current area could be as good.

I don't expect to have to rate my GP Surgery but how could I say anything bad about it after in excess of 20 years as a patient.Obviously during Covid times it was difficult but I've always been able to get a reasonably speedy appointment. I rarely have had to settle for telephone consultations which I think is a great thing .Oh, I even get recognised and get a personal greeting from the head of the practice so definitely can't say anything bad about this central London practice located almost directly opposite the main entrance to The British Museum.

Unfortunately I've left this practice a while ago due to moving out of the area, but I can say without a doubt that this is the best GP practice I've ever been.It has been a pleasure seeing so many wonderful doctors that listened to my many needs and supported me when I needed to.Such a breath of fresh air compared to the many awful GP practices in London!Will forever miss being treated by doctors that actually listen to your concerns!

I am blessed to be a patient of such a fantastic Surgery. My family have been with this practice for over 20 years and the professionalism and care has always been outstanding. Thank you to all the staff at The Museum Practice. You deserve an award.

1 star is really too good for the admin staff at this practice.Pauline is not fit to be a senior as she s rude and has no training on patient care or admin in general.Had to call because they forgot to send my blood tests to the center, had to wait 20 min which meant i missed my turn and had to wait for the next available. thankfully a nurse fit me in on the same day.Had to call to get some blood tests and they said they d send it in a few minutes. Nothing after 30 minutes called back. We ll send them now. I asked to wait on the line while they send them and Pauline said ' I v helped you, dont see why you should stay on the line'. Mannerless.

I am really happy to be part of this practice as patient since summer 2021. When you call to reception is like they are waiting your call and they answer you in seconds.All the doctors are wonderful people and they are always willing to help you out.I hope you pass along this review to all staff and let them know how much I appreciate their service and support.Best regardsMr Mohammed Abdi .
