It was a relief to be greeted by a warm hearted lady when I walked through the door. Amanda looked after us amazingly well before, during and after the funeral. Her encouragement and support was invaluable.

My Dad sadly passed away on June 7th during the pandemic. Having not lost a parent before I had no idea where to start and nervously called Hyde-Chambers, unsure what to say or what to do. Amanda immediately put me at ease, explained what would need to happen in the next few days and gave me reassurance. I couldn't fault her professionalism, empathy and compassion, especially at a time when we were unable to meet in person due to the circumstances. Even within a couple of phone calls and plenty of professional and personal advice, I already felt more confident and stronger - Amanda really helped me to feel that I was making all the right decisions, without any pressure. She put me in touch with all the right people, made calls to ensure I could offer my Dad the service and burial I wanted and nothing was ever too much trouble.I met Ian when I went to see my Dad at the Chapel of Rest, he did a wonderful job to make Dad look peaceful and relaxed - his many years of experience was very clear and there's no doubt in my mind that he had looked after Dad with respect since he arrived in their care.Working with Hyde-Chambers enabled me to add so many attributes to create a perfectly personal funeral for Dad - they embraced any ideas I had, were extremely supportive and the whole team even wore red ties to represent Dad's favourite colour on the day of the funeral.I couldn't have got through those few weeks without their care, attention and impeccable service. I wouldn't hesitate at recommending this incredible business to anyone.

The first contact with Amanda was very reassuring given certain difficulties we encountered during the preparation of our mother's funeral. Her continued support, superb organisation, availability, kindness and empathy were outstanding.Ian was thoroughly professional throughout, assisting us and guiding us through each stage of the church service and crematorium.We cannot thank them enough for such an excellent service.Hyde Chambers provided the best service we could possibly have hoped for and we would recommend them to everyone .Our sincere thanks to you all.
