Good selection of beers went for karaoke but the landlord couldn't be bothered to get the singers on in rotation he left some out while putting others on numerous times don't think I'll be going back

Lovely little pub, very reasonable prices and plenty of different gins etc on offer! They also have a pool table.

The pub doesn't serve food, which is a shame but the kitchen facilities mean the landlady's high standards wouldn't allow it. Having said that, the supper served at the quiz night on a Tuesday, made at home, are superb.Every single member of staff are excellent, helpful and friendly with a great selection of beers and spirits available. It's just the perfect local, a friendly home from home.

We ate here on Friday evening. It was a German menu which we enjoyed. Unusually it was very quiet which was good for us giving us a chance to chat with our host and chef. I'm not local but my friend who lives a stone's throw away will I'm sure be back.
