Shillingford Bridge Hotel
Great location. Hotel needs a bit of TLC which is happening slowly since the Covid outbreak. Friendly staff and good food but make sure you are down for a cooked breakfast before 9am as the shutters come down very promptly!

Shillingford Bridge Hotel
Great potential with the Hotel but unfortunately a lot of work to be done. Bathrooms have been uprated but the bedrooms were in a poor condition and carpets all need replacing. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Food good. Location excellent. Would like to return in 5 years.

Shillingford Bridge Hotel
What a truly fabulous hotel.Rooms were spotlessly clean, beds huge and incredibly comfy.Food was very impressive and VERY tasty.Staff were welcoming, helpful and professional.I've stayed in many (many) different places and struggle to see how this is only 3.5 star - based on rooms, food, service, location (stunning and quiet) I'd easily expect this to moving on up with a higher star review.

Shillingford Bridge Hotel
The hotel is ideally located, overlooking the Thames. The room we stayed in was well proportioned. The bathroom was modern and well equipped.We had breakfasts. They consisted of a choice of serials and yogurts etc, followed by a choice of several cooked items. All very tasty.On the whole, we enjoyed our stay.

Shillingford Bridge Hotel
We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Lovely location overlooking the Thames and Shillingford Bridge. Room was spacious, comfortable and nicely furnished. Good en-suite also. Breakfast was good and plentiful as was dinner in the restaurant, slightly expensive but on a par with most places in this area. Staff were really nice. Good value and better than I expected for what we paid. We'll recommended !

Nice hotel, so much potential, rooms bit dated, it is an old building and is fighting damp!?Breakfast was nice. I slept well, I was warm... The heating was on full.Really nice staff.

The stunning Thames location speaks for itself, we held post wedding drinks and the staff were so accommodating. Our Barman was lovely so much fun I hope he gets the recognition he deserves as he was honestly fantastic. The food was stunning we ordered nibbles for the guests in the evening, the staff really make you feel warmly welcomed. All the guests congratulated us and we even mingled with a few guests having chats about their shillingford memories. The beeps & well wishes from the locals was so heart warming.Our room was a newly refurbished and it was immaculate and warm we were so happy. As was our other guests. The management were lovely and helpful the staff at breakfast were lovely and the breakfast was beautiful. Thank you so much for everything I know the hotel was at capacity and nothing was too much trouble. If you’re thinking of visiting this hotel go! The area is rich with history lovely people and you won’t be disappointed

Shillingford Bridge Hotel
A quirky hotel that is a little dated, but the staff make up for any deficiencies in the accommodation.I had a very enjoyable four night stay. The breakfast was far better than the usual hotel chain fare. A great location that makes the hotel worth a stay if you are looking for a couple of days away for walks or a quiet time. I would happily stay here again.

I had high hopes.But. I guess you really do get what you pay for.Very friendly staff. Easy check-in.Food was lovelyDecore a little dated.I had one of the bungalows.It was okay. But the heating system woke me at 5 am gargling like someone was having a pee in an echo chamber on my pillow!All in all a fair experience but won't be coming back which is a shame as I needed to find a decent corporate hotel for my team.Staff were super though.No complaints though.

Shillingford Bridge Hotel
Arrived to the hotel, paid my parking for the car. Greeted quit nicely and advised of guest information. Carried my heavy bag up the stairs, the hotel needs some repairs, the room was ok, but very cold, the heating came on for a short period, dinner was expensive for what you get, breakfast was very basic, the hotel was quite, there was a cat under the table. The venue was very quite from Sunday into Monday morning, There's is no evening roast dinner, only a roast lunch. Overly priced for what you get.
