Pay at pumps need to be on each side of pumps, as a van driver you can't always see the counter and amount your putting in

Pulled off motorway found all lanes barrierd except one pump. Unfortunately filler was on opposite side of van and hose would not reach drove out and reversed in to be at pump side.success some guy then drove up close so I could not drive out but had to reverse out. Not well thought out but as I was empty and good price I was happy

So hit and miss to when the pay at the pumps work and if the forcourt is even open. Staffed times are also all over the place.
