Bogans a warning to avoid if you don't want a headache.customer service is appalling, was being overcharged for carpet grips I didn't need and never needed as we have previous ones down, even though I had someone come around and measure along with figure out what was needed i.e carpet grips etc and then quoted after this (clearly trying to sell things not needed). when paying I received no invoice, until after the weekend after I payed and only received one because I had to ring them up to get one sent to me did this whilst the carpet was being put in. to note it took me about 4 calls to get the invoice sent over to me which I paid 5 days previously, this was after I had to ring up following the events below.Another glorious mess up by bogans not telling me I have to pull up my old carpet. when the contractors arrived they are asking for extra money, to pull it up 1 stair case the rest is already up. they ring up the shop they are as confused as me about why no one has told me this before hand etc, Bogans inability to communicate is incredible not only with clients but with there contractors, paying £110 for the laying but not pulling the old carpet, cash in hand to avoid the tax man. at this point after ringing bogans and them saying its standard for there to ne no carpet down (yeah sure). I say sure ill remove it you can come back a different day, in which I was then told by contractor a cancelation fee would be charged to me even though Bogans had messed up. so I have to remove a carpet it took me 2 minutes whatever its not a big job its just lazy contractors and awful communication between them and the business.After this headache after jobs done notice the contractors Borgans has used have actually broken my coat rack that was resting on a wall in the hallway, not near where carpet was being laid, cheers for that, just all around absolutely awful.safe to say I won't be using them again even though we have three bedrooms that need carpet its just not worth the headache of going through this again with them.

Used Bogans, several times now and always very impressed with the service and value for money. From the store teams through to the fitters. All very knowledgeable and helpful. The added bonus is it is a local family business. Highly recommend

They overpriced me as a young girl at 19 they charged over 400 for a one bedroom small council flat they also didnt Put carpet down properly as less then a year later corners come right up there is no underlay or any dividers between rooms it looks like no one owns the flat I’m really disappointed as well as they left me with enough capers to another room after they came out to measure for me so there couldn’t be any extra

Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Sharon was very professional and extremely helpful when I was making my choice.. The carpet surveyor was also really knowledgeable and answered all my questions patiently . The carpet fitters, Dan and Pater, did a great job fitting the carpets throughout my living rooms, stairs, and landing, and I’m really pleased with the finished look.A professional service overall and I would highly recommend this company.

I recently had carpets fitted throughout the upstairs of my house and a vinyl floor fitted in the kitchen all by Bogans and they did an outstanding job!When I visited the store I was initially overwhelmed by all the different carpets but John who dealt with me was so knowledgeable and was able to assess extremely quickly what I was after. He made the whole process of picking and ordering the carpet quick and easy.The two men(sorry forgot names) who fitted my flooring were exceptional they did a brilliant job and worked so hard... Really impressed.I highly recommend Bogans!

Carpet and laminate fitted approx Feb 2022 by Bogans. I have pictures and email trail and not heard from Bogans for nearly a year since they have damaged our laminate in our bedroom when they fitted the carpet on the stairs and landing. I’m still waiting for them to replace the piece of laminate they have cracked in our bedroom. They have not kept in touch. They were also slow to fix the karndean which we paid beforehand. It was a small but difficult job but a job need doing. They first said the original karndean floor was not fitted by them (it was) and was trying to get out of doing the karndean repair but it eventually got done.The laminate they fitted in the front living room was ok but the beading on the side could be better. ie they could have used a full piece along the wall but I can see that there are areas where the strips were short and they had to use another strip to finish along the wall. Going back to our past experiences I won’t be using Bogans again. I’ve already told my friends and colleagues about my experience.Basically was told if I could find the piece they have damaged, they will fit it or they will try to find out themselves however they don’t have a howdens account or know anyone who could get the piece. The piece that is damaged is called Howdens fast fit range: hickory. If you’re reading this Bogans this is what we need!!I would like them to contact me and fix the cracked floor they have left almost a year ago.So it probably looks like that I need to find the piece that they have damaged.If I have to pay I wonder if howdens can bill Bogans the piece I need.Not fair to have this problem at the back of my mind for nearly a year! If you’ve paid up which you have to before the floor fitters come then it feels like they just leave you behind and ignore a job that was not very well done!Shame that they seem friendly in the shop.I read they have done the flooring for hotels and luxury places like the Titanic. Thought I was going to get the same level of finish. Don’t be fooled, ask for other recommendations.If it wasn’t for the friendly sales person and the karndean that they have fitted nicely a few years ago I wouldn’t have given them any ratings at all.Reply to your message Bogans:I will call, thank you but you may have mistaken me with someone else. Wished it was fixed in the first place but it has been done and we are very pleased it has finally resolved. The floor fitters rang prior to visit, friendly, skilful and wanted to get the job done. It wasn’t an easy fix as first thought and we appreciated they spent some time to get it perfect. Thanks.

Visited today to get a quote for carpet for our home. Sadly 2 staff saw us numerous times behind the desk and ignored us. No attempt was made to approach us and ask what we were looking for etc...Im sure the owners of the business were not in today.Lost a decent sale.

I used Bogans to purchase and fit a carpet throughout my flat. Very happy overall - the girl in the store was patient, informative and not pushy (without the horrible salesperson attitude), the 2 chaps who fitted the carpet were quick and professional, everyone was very friendly (also the chap who came to measure). I had little time to organise everything but it all went so smoothly. I wish I could remember their names to say thank you. This was a year and a half ago and my carpet is looking faultless. Would definitely recommend.
