Lovely little pub that also do breakfasts, toasties and cakes. Im not a coffee drinker but been told their coffee is good. Been few times for lunch and service has always been good, staff friendly, would recommend a visit to The Volunteer Arms

The Volunteer Arms
First time in this place and I am impressed with the decor and the comfortable feeling I got when I got through the door. It is a nice mix of modern whilst keeping the past relevant for future generations. It is really clean and well looked after. The cafe cum bar is a good idea to keep it a place for all not just boozers. I will definetly be back next time I am in Seaham.

Really like this place. Great service, great value and very relaxing atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive and they clean all tables and chairs after customers leave ready for their next customer.

We called in on Saturday afternoon and we were more than quite impressed. The inside decor was well thought out and the layout was good as well. The service was very warm and welcoming and the larger was cold and kept a good head on it all the way down the glass. Next time we are down seaham we will definitely call in again.

The Volunteer Arms is a lovely friendly pub.The staff are lovely very customer focused. Lovely range of beer and larger, but also tea, coffee, cakes and snacks...well worth a visit if you're in Seaham.
