Always helpful in carrying out a key cutting service for us for banham keys. Reassuring to know that their modern keys are very secure and they also advise when older keys don’t t need to be cut by themselves which makes it easier for clients to go and cut them cut direct.

Terrible customer service. First response is to say “no” without taking customer’s concerns into account. Bought a lock. Lock broke within 2 years. Bought new cylinder. Installation instructions missing. Appropriate parts not available. Picked up replacement part. Told required 20p mini Allen key could not be provided as they “do not sell tools”. How much more customer-unfriendly can you get?

They became too big and cannot manage the customers professionally anymore. We installed 7 months ago new alarm, ring bells and door for a fortune, they had to come 5 times to install and then 4 times to repair. The door closer they put broke after 4 months. The office staff doesn’t know what their engineers can or cannot do so they had to come three times instead of one. Given the amount of mornings and afternoons we needed to stay in to get stuff repaired or fixed is not worth the money at all.

Matt & Spencer came to fit a new Banham door, frame and locks and they were absolutely fantastic. They took the old door off and fitted everything all in one morning! Super friendly and very meticulous attention to detail we’re very very happy with the finished product - would recommend them to anyone needing a new door

Excellent instal by engineer Gavin Harvey. Friendly and reassuring installed our new locks surprisingly quickly. Not only do we now feel a lot safer but they look great and Gavin did a brilliant clean up job too!

A while back, Banhams had a sign in their window - all keys copied. Well, they coUld not copy my key - so I went to Barry Brothers in Praed Street Paddington W2 - a good professional outfit. And if you want the best locks - go to Bramah.
