A fantastic store and outstanding customer service from Andy. I've been lucky enough to have him helping me out on both of my last 2 visits buying ski equipment. He is incredibly knowledgeable and really helpful. He was so patient with my questions ad indecisiveness and explained things so well. An absolute credit to the team. Thank you!

Went here to get a ski jacket for the wife. They had a good choice of kit at various price points with a complete range of sizes so we were done and dusted quite quickly. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable too and nothing was too much trouble. Very satisfied with the service

I visited the shop last week to purchase a running belt, when I was greeted by a very friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable member of staff. He went on to give me plenty of advice about my first up coming half marathon. In addition to this he also put me on the treadmill so that I could see which kind of shoes I should purchase. He made some great recommendations on shoes, apps and general running advice. I couldn't be happier with the service that I received and I would definitely be visiting the shop again closer to marathon day for more equipment.

Great service. Came here for a new pair of ski boots.Andy, who was doing the boot fit was a really nice guy, and he was able to help me pick the perfect fitting boots, plus all of the custom fit like heat moulding and custom soles for the best performance.Thanks again!

Had gait analysis done here which led to custom insoles being made and also buying trainers to put the custom insoles in. Very good customer service here, spent 90 minutes analysing my husband's gait. Used treadmill and video recording. Wide range of shoes to try. In the end hubby's feet needed custom insoles which they made there and then ...even though it was 4pm on a Sunday. Good manager in the running department with good knowledge. All around excellent service. Will be returning.

liviu who works in the bike section was an incredible mechanic and sales adviser. Reminds me of me back when I worked sales. Too often I've walked into any type of store only to be confronted by an assistant who does int want to be their or does int really care about what the shop sell.This was a refreshing experiencing and I spent about 2 hrs buying more gear then I probably needed. They also Price match as their on the same team as Cotswold's. If you have bike related issues see this guy!

Such a shame to have to provide a negative review. This is solely based on the online returns policy. We brought over £700 worth of gear of which some items didn't quite fit correctly due to the sizing's of some brands. On checking how to return goods I found that we had to pay for the privilege. Snow and Rock need to up their game as competitors have a free returns policy. Very poor.

Great and professional advise and help in choosing running shoes. I was really stressed as it was my first time someone was helping me chose shoes and although you're not supposed to look at the colour, I can't due to me attentiveness to detail and what some would call pickiness. They were patient and I finally got good and nice trainers.

Popped in and spoke with the guys about running shoes. Excellent service and knowledge. I usually go for Asics but after gait analysis Brooks were recommended. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Highly recommended.

I have been meaning to post a review for this store and about the excellent assistance I received while in there for about 3 months now, but have only now got my act together.Earlier this summer I attended the store in search of walking boots that would fit my very small feet. The size of my feet means buying well fitting boots can be quite a mission! I was lucky enough to have help from (And I am hoping i have her name right) Jen. She was so unbelievably patient with me while I tried on pair after pair of boots, giving me different in soles to try with them and suggesting different ways to tie the laces and offering thicker and thinner socks. I don't know how she stayed sane because she was trapped with me and the sea of discarded walking boots for well over an hour! The end result was we finally managed to find a pair of boots which with a pair of insoles fit brilliantly! Over the last few months they have had their fair share of use and not one blister! I am so grateful to Jen and her perseverance with me as so many other assistance would have grown irritated or given up. She also helped me to select a few other items while there which I am very happy with and when putting it all though on the till she also applied my bluelight card (for people in the NHS or services) discount for me and helped to save me some extra money! She was a star and the shop has a wide selection of good quality stock so I would recommend to anyone in need of out door or adventure gear! :)
