Theory Test Centre

It would be great if there was a sign board indicating Theory test center for people walking or coming by bus from the Clifton Road side.

Very professional and swift. Great helpful staff. You cannot park in the carpark tho so you must park in the multi-story 2 minutes walk away.

Too noisy whilst trying to do test. Very irritating as every person who came to the centre was greeted and procedure explained but my daughter who was sat close to this area could hear it all and was very distracted by it.

Staff were friendly and very welcoming. I was almost an hour early, and they sat me almost immediately for my test. AMAZING! Only gripe, not allowed to park at the location. Had to park in the multistorey around the corner. Cost £3 for 2 hours of parking. Still, WOULD recommend this location, which is easy to access.

As other reviews have mentioned, parking is indeed an issue if you come at a busy time, however there are some areas without double yellow lines where roughly 5-6 cars can fit in total so not an issue if you come when it isn’t busy. There’s always the leisure centre across the way as a back up though.

I went to go do my theory arrived 20 mins late due to traffic and road works and had spent 2 hours in the car when it normally takes 20 mins. I tried to explain this to them and they would not let me in and now I have lost my money. I still would have completed it within the 50 mins as this would have been my 6th time. All the man had to say to me was you and me kid which i feel was derogatory and because of my age he felt like he could speak to me in this manner. He also said that the room was full but the many times I have been there it has never been full. The 9am to 10am was full which was my booking with others so I would have tried to finish it with the rest of the time. He was rude to my mum who was only trying to help me.

Excellent staff at the test centre, explained things clearly. They let me and everyone else who was there in 30 minutes before opening time and allowed me to sit my tests earlier which saved me lots of time and made the process easier especially since I had 3 tests which are longer than standard tests. Excellent service all round.

Was difficult to find the right building with the banner at the entrance indicating to the wrong building number. Need to ask around to find out. Test centre staff explain the process well. There are storage lockers for bags. But better not to bring large bags because they won't fit in the locker.

Lovely Test Centre, but really Bad that you can't park Outside!

It's quite scary and intimidating in here. I wasn't expecting it at all. Felt more like getting arrested than having a driving test, all the checks they do. I guess it's scare tactics to stop people from cheating, but still. Staff were quite blunt and unfriendly. I didn't feel safe in there.
