One star for turning up to survey. They were meant to give us a quote, never received it. Gone elsewhere and had it fitted since. Disappointed

Excellent service from start to finish. Removed our old back boiler and replaced it with a log burner and slate hearth. Explained everything about the burner at the end of the job, tidied up all mess and cleaned everything that needed it. Highly recommended and very reasonable priced.

Great choice of fires with great knowledge. Really easy to get what we wanted.

I'm over the moon with Mid Wales Stoves crew.I always wanted a fireplace/log burner, it was a dream of mine since I was a child. Finally, I bought a house with a log burner, seller swore the burner works just fine, but once I moved in - I've noticed something is off, but wasn't sure. Called Mid Wales Stoves for a chimney sweep and inspection and was told that the stove was done unprofessionally and isn't safe to use - what I already suspected, but what made me very sad. Mike explained to me why the stove is unsafe and what would be the best thing to do. Soon, I've contacted them to ask for a quote, saved money and finally had it done this week. They did a fantastic job, finished it within a few hours and now I finally have the little log burner I've always dreamed of. I can sit on a couch now with a mug of cocoa in my hand and watch telly while being warm. Mid Wales stoves - you make dreams come true.To all of the people moaning about the quote - they are small company and autumn is the busiest period for them! I've asked for the quote in June and received it pretty quickly, but when I asked for quote again in October - it took them a while and I completely understand why. They do a fantastic job, are very knowledgeable, nice and professional. They will explain everything to you that you need to know, they will do a fantastic job, take care of you and all for a reasonable price.

Unfortunately never got back to me on three different occasions when I asked about a quote for a log burner to be installed.They apologised each time but still never got a call, message or email.

Fantastic service from start to finish. From the lovely lady on the phone booking our yearly chimney sweep and service, to I think his name was Mike we will definitely be using them again. Mike was very professional and gave us lots of information on getting best results from our burner and back boiler, Over all very impressed and would highly recommend.
