Difficult to find, as GPS gets very lost. When we found it, the staff were very helpful, and rooms were comfortable

This is the second time I've left a review for this place, a previous stay here in June forced me to leave a bad review, and swore I'd never stay here again, but I decided to give it another chance, I'm glad I did, and I think it only fair to update my opinion on this place with this review. The staff are Always friendly & welcoming, the place (corridors) seem to have lost that weird smell that was there before, and it was a nice suprise to see new carpets in the downstairs room that I'd been put in, I was upstairs last time, this room also backed onto the back road, so I was a little disappointed that I didn't have the great view that I had before, though it was a little quieter, the room had a bit of a smelly sock odore though, but it soon disappeared as my nose got used to it. It sounded like I had an elephant stomping around above me, but it went to sleep before me, so I enjoyed 2 really good nights sleep. My opinions on this place have changed, I would definitely stay here again now, but sadly, that was my last visit to Dundee.

Great value for money, staff were really lovely and friendly. Room was clean and bed really comfy. Thank you and we’d definitely stay again.

Clean but tired. This rebranded Travelodge could do with a better refit. The staff were lovely. Earplugs were provided but we did have any issues with noise. Not cheap for this standard of accommodation.

The room was disgusting. We took pictures and were told we would get our £99 back but not heard anything ?

This is not a hotel any more.It is a homeless hostel. The first room we were given stunk to High heaven. We asked to be moved immediately and were, to a room that didn't stink quite as much.It's great that homeless people have somewhere nice to stay, we met a couple of them and they were lovely, I've been homeless myself in the past so in no way is this a patronising or demeaning post.But don't advertise it as a 'budget' or any other kind of hotel, and expect people to pay over £100 per night.AVOID AT ALL COSTS.P.S. The staff were also lovely and very accommodating, it's not their fault the company puts them in this position.IBIS are the fraudsters here, not the staff.

So basic for room £81.80 booked through Agoda which is a great disappointment. Very tired room and carpet looks terrible and stained. Too afraid not to wear thongs!!! I am more worried about the hygiene and cleanliness. Definitely, will not stay here again for any price!

Staff are lovely, location is great, the road into needs work and the room I was in I felt really let the place down. So needs a makeover, furniture is shabby, carpets totally worn looking, the bath had issues that there was a big sticker trying to hide, it was grubby though.Such a shame as it could be great.On the plus side, bed was super comfy, only got 2 pillows though.
