I visited here on the recommendation from a friend. I had damaged my expensive glasses by sitting on them..The place where I had bought them had since changed hands and the new franchise were less than helpful. Newsome and Davies repaired them while I waited and I am very impressed with their customer service..I know where I'll be going in future..Good old fashioned service and efficiency..

My parents have used this opticians for years - however since it has changed hands they have had nothing but shocking service - no longer caring just money orientated. I think Specsavers are better!

Outstanding eye tests. They pay a huge amount of attention to the health of you and your eye. They actively look for signs in your eyes of wider health issues and will refer you to other specialists. I don't get the same confidence that the big chains are as interested in my health.
