Gave My 77yr old mum VERY BAD food poisoning!!!!! ..prawn Tikka tasted like a korma not a Tikka! Very wierd flavor,Colour was wierd. partially eaten the rest went in the bin…3 days later shes still ill…..Avoid like the plague

Excellent food. Quick and efficient service. Good pricing for everything on the menu. Staff were extremely friendly and happy to help with explaining what the different dishes had in them. Would highly recommended and will be coming back again as the no.1 Indian in shoebury

Disappointed. Have used the Raj many times and always have had good food and service. Unfortunately this time had to wait over an hour and call to see where order was, amazingly enough order was ready but sitting there. No meat in keema naan so technically a plain one, onion bhajis cold and no yogurt with poppadoms.

Amazingly bad!! I can’t believe other reviews say it’s the best Indian in town. The tandoori chicken starter didn’t taste of anything, as did the mushroom bahji. Blandest Indian I’ve ever had. Needed a covid test after because I was convinced I’d lost my sense of taste. Chicken pakora were like a Mac Donald’s attempt at Indian cuisine. Honestly, worst Indian I’ve eaten!!

I’ve got to say the staff here are the friendliest ever!Really like this place, we don’t go anywhere else now, the food is also so lovely. It’s so refreshing to phone up to order a takeaway & have a friendly voice on the phone every time. When we picked up our order a few weeks back the young lad that was working at the front was also really pleasant & friendly. Keep up the good work!

We ordered a takeaway last night for delevery only one tikka masala arrived give the man his dew he got the others delivered quite fast hut I had eaten mine befor the others arrived so not good for my guests but I will says it was not worth the money I paid the man said he will get food sent out asap or I'm to go through just eat for refund but the quality of the food wà a crock of sh,t first and last time of ordering food from here
